  1. http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=19925 http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=19593 These aren't exactly tips/instruction threads but it might give you some ideas on where to start etc. I'm also wanting to make myself a Joker as well so my advice is to listen to others ideas to spark off your own EDIT: Welcome to Eurobricks btw!
  2. Yeah should have mentioned their sorta a WIP i think they'll look better when moving, its gonna be my sideline uni project. I'll try to get a better group shot when I have more of the characters through main character wise only Arthur and Trillian left to go!
  3. Legoing while drunk!? What would that be? Binge and Build? Well I promsie that I will not give it a try! I will check out this Mystery Castle of which you speak as soon as i'm done typing this post! And thanks for checking out my Deviantart profile! Your right Bleach rocks and I can't watch Naruto english coz Naruto's voice just makes me wanna kill the TV! Ah we can see the appeal of that!
  4. Ah I can tell your a hoopy frood who really knows where his towel is! Arthur is in the works, currently making decals that mimick my own tartan PJ's and dressing gown! Yeah Marvin is my favourite too, glad you like the paint job! it's actually all done with nail varnish my sister gave me! Actually I recommend nail varnish, it drys quickly has a glossy finish and if it all goes wrong your too high from the fumes to care! Though I'm really not looking forward to making Lego Vogons! Anyway, rambling over, thanks for the feedback!
  5. Last christmas a good friend of mine called Dan Dyer set me a challange; Using the BBC radio series as a soundtrack, animate all 5 volumes of The Hitchhikers Guide To The Galaxy all in Lego. He calculated that it would take about 20 years for me to do! So when I get to 38 I'll tell how it went! Anyway being the idiot that I am I plan to do just that! So I present to you the first four members of my Lego cast. Zaphod Beeblebrox (also with 2 heads!) Ford Prefect Marvin Old Marvin (as seen in book 4) And here is a horribly out of focus group shot! Please tell me what you think and how you think I could improve. P.S I'm actually stuck for a decal idea for Zaphod so any suggestions are warmly welcomed! EDIT: Oops just realized that i've put the wrong zaphod pic at the end of him link! All sorted now!
  6. I totally love this even if it is a little freaky! Now all you need is a lego hospital to blow up!
  7. SirNadroj you are made of pure lemony fresh awesomeness! (It's a good thing I swear!) First you give us two amazing Joker customs, though nurse joker is a tad disturbing! And now Harvey Two Face! I love it! Even the massivly oversized coin! Though my only pick at it would be I though he was blonde? Other than that it's incredible!
  8. Yeah I did have a face decal but it didn't last very long and it looked....odd, I mean bad odd as I know Todd is meant to be odd (hey that ryhmes!) I myself kinda like the evilish smile but your right it's not giving the fig as much Toddiness (technical term) as it could have. I also should redo the torso decal its faded quite a bit. Will do some upgrading (he needs a knew razor!) and repost soon Also you right Dr Brick, the film is awesome! Though I'm a Burton lover so my view is a tad bias! Plus I haven't used the Yoda icon yet!...... there we go feel better now!
  9. Thanks for the warm welcome guys! As for the third person thingy, well something new ain't it!? yeah it is contageous JackGrimm I know! Won't be doing that in other post, will just get annoying! (and I have a hangover today so it's lost some charm!) Anyway thanks, hope to see you around
  10. Hello people of Eurobricks My name is Jack Grimm JackGrimm is from Milton Keynes in Buckingham, England, though was born in Devon near the sea. He is 18 years old and has nothing better to do at his age than play with little bits of plastic. Sad? You bet! He also enjoys stop-motion animation, drinking stupid amounts of alcohol at parties and is passionate about films. His favourite film at the moment (so many that they on a rota!) is The Dark Knight which is a strange choice since he hasn't even seen it yet! He knew it was gonna by amazing when it was first greenlit and as such is a favourite for him. To pass the time he reads, draws, makes animation puppets, plays games, animates and refers to himself in the third person. Appearance wise his is medium hight with broad shoulders long dark messy hair and has quite a bit of stubble this is due to not shaving and is not his poor attempt at being ruggid! He also ,according to his friends, looks like The Joker (Heath Ledger) from the back. JackGrimm has got a DeviantArt account which if you have nothing else to do with your time you can visit here, while there you can see all his artwork and also so a picture of his ugly mug! Well thats all there is to say! Thank you for pretending to listen! Bye Bye Now! JackGrimm
  11. Hello people! I'm new to the forum but I thought I would post this up as my first post, start as you mean to go on kinda thing! Here is my Sweeney Todd minifigures based on the Tim Burton film version. I'm not fleshie legos biggest fan but I have to admit it suits Sweeney better than the yellow. You can view the high res pics here and here. Please tell me watcha think!
