  1. Wow, I nearly soiled myself. Each picture just keeps getting better. Seriously, I'm in awe. And 100 bucks? I expected this to be around 250, but 100? It's a steal, simply amazing.
  2. 155a This is actually my first Pirate MOC. I tried to use the architecture LEGO had in its Imperial sets like 6277 while incorporating some Greek Island architecture too. Not entirely accurate to the Pirate era, but I think it turned out okay. The whole set. Tavern. It was based on 6267 Lagoon Lockup, with a window and colored roof, open area, and side doors. I didn't exactly have any lattice windows, though. Not too similar. Entrance. There's a small lamp on the side. The inside. Includes three chairs, two tables, and an ordering front. You can pick up food inside or order outside on the go. The front. Ladder to the roof with some ornate decoration. I ran out of plain yellow 2x1 bricks so I used ones with holes in them. I made it look a little nicer with white round pieces. The house nearby. The little hinged roof also functions as a door. I also used a SNOT technique by making flat white 2x1 pieces appear as irregular bricks. I eventually ran out of blue headlight pieces, so I couldn't do the same thing on the sides. Side view. A couple of bottles are on the wall. Chimney. Did they have chimneys back then? The roof can be removed to reveal the inside. There's a fireplace, chair, and a table. The steps leading into the house. Back view. That's it. There's a couple of more pics at my Brickshelf (once moderated): http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=339103
  3. Incredibly innovative and impressive! I really love the rounding technique you used to build the lighthouse by using assorted pieces instead of just cylinders alone. I also love the different colors, it makes the entire MOC more realistic. The wooden door plank is pretty ingenious, too. I agree that you should add some foliage, and maybe even a couple of more details such as a ladder.
  4. I must say, those are some amazing sets. I'm not sure why some people don't like them - they have the same style as all the old pirate sets, especially the fort. I love the new pieces and although the ship comes with a large bow, the deck and cabin is amazingly detailed. Hopefully we'll get a soldiers pack and and an imperial ship to complete the line.
  5. I just joined Eurobricks but I've been lurking for quite some time now (about a few months, I'd reckon). However, I just got a camera yesterday, so I should be able to post all my LEGO creations, including one of my recent ones. This is a Steampunk Airship I built some time ago, long enough for some dust to collect on it. It is dubbed The Magnanimous. Here she is sitting on a table. Her crew of five. Indy is a pretty awesome fig, didn't feel like tearing him apart for new characters so I just kept him. Two main propellers. And my hand. The main engine/reactor/flux capacitor/what-have-you. The bridge and the Captain's cabin. The main cabin. I actually stole this idea from a fellow steampunk ship on Brickshelf, named the Egregious. http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=261935 Yep. I have a ton more pics at my Brickshelf. http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=332308
