If you could create the next Alpha Team
Stony replied to LegoLover's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Oh. This was before Agents... I saw it at the top of the board and thought it was new. -
Whoops. Forgot to check the date when I found it searching "Time Twisters." Sorry.

Indiana Jones and the Quest for the Philosopher's Brick
Stony replied to Oky's topic in LEGO Licensed
Oh, him. I didn't know he had a dragon on there. -
I'm sorry but I can't really help you there. Maybe you could download the instructions to all the Time Cruisers and Time Twister sets for inspiration. BTW, you just made Time Cruisers/Twisters one of my favorite themes.

If you could create the next Alpha Team

NO! I hate Alpha Team so much that blew up my old "Dash" with a firecracker! Besides Agents is much better. People think that...right...? -
This captured the very essence of medieval Japan much better than that stereotypical ninja subtheme. I love it! I wouldn't mind if Lego made a medieval Japan theme...
-
You're a value pack that sold three sets for a price lower than what they'd cost individually! So yes you are three sets.
-
Tan Vinyl Dyed bricks look surprisingly close to the official "Dark Tan" colour.

Either in my unsorted bins, in the pantry next to the coffee, on top of the TV, and pretty much everywhere else.

I thought that this was amazingly stupid in a good way. The stupidity of it all made it very entertaining. Very entertaining indeed. Indeed.
-
I'm an Addidas Team Transport! Neat! But I wish Lego released a Swedish Team Transport under that number...
-
Looks very steampunk. I normally hate steampunk but it works here.
-
Oh. A joke. I feel really stupid right now.

I had no idea that head was still on shelves! Yeah I'll try to get pictures, but they might not be very clear seeing as I don't have a Brickshelf account or anything. Just a digital camera. EDIT: I went through that link you posted and got a headache. I don't really understand what they're talking about. Somebody here needs to read the computer manual to brush up on computer terms.
-
Ok. I thought they may be alternate names. He'll always be Albert Albatross to me, though. Thanks! BTW what do you mean by "a little more talkative...?"
-
Is there a difference between the Fabuland characters Albert Albatross and Sandy Seagull? Are they just different names for one character or are they separate? I'd like to know.

I bought a Tiny Turbos set(A No-No for me) after I saw this "Bag Building." It's actually pretty fun. I built it faster than I would if I had opened the bags!

The blue jawa head would be better, but it's a great sleep mode EVE. Also, I think that you should get a transparent bar to hold the arms, since they were kinda floating there. and maybe trim the bar because the arms were a little closer. But it's awesome!
-
I love how you made him. The elastic does look wierd though and wasn't the plant in a shoe?
-
I voted A because it just looks so original. It looks inspired by the treehouse in Whacker and the Walrus. There's one high rock, a rope bridge, and then another high rock and then theres the pirate ship hull. Besides it looks like it has many hiding spots that could create interesting story arc. B is very uncreative to me.

Those heads should be pretty easy to get at. Thanks for the info but the last head(Grey Balaclava) is actually Specs from Dino 2010(In US Dino Attack I think). Thanks! EDIT:Okay I made some tests on plain paper but it always came out at a little over 20 times the size of a minifig head( ). If some decal wiz out there could help I'd be very grateful!

Caveman, Plainview, Prospector, Native American
Stony replied to SirNadroj's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Caveman is my favorite. The Hagrid hair works well on him and I love the cartoony feel of the club! -
My favorite is the one in Lederhosen and a forestman cap. Sparked my imagination. I think I have an expendable dr. Kilroy around somewhere.....
-
I guess the M1911 part makes sense but I still don't like the syringe much. BTW the Arealight hairpiece looks awesome under the space helmet. I'm gonna have to pick up a helmet and hairpiece.

I loved this guy in the movie and you made him perfectly! But shouldn't his eyes photoreceptors be red, not yellow? I thought they were red at least. What's next, "Eve" or "Wall-E"?(Quotation marks are fun )
