Minifigmaker did a comparison of the new helmets with visors. Due to the design of the new helmets standard attachments won't fit. It is more than just drilling holes.

I did this vignette for a family I know. The use of the star makes this very unique and special to me. Image size fixed.

I have been working on this item for a few months now. Most of the parts are made using rapid prototyping based on my design. The decals were designed and printed by the Fine Clonier. If you do a search online you will probably find where to get your own.

I take back all that I said on Flikr. All I can say now is YUM. I cant wait for the Commando Droids and Commander Colt. I am a little upset at Gree cause I thought I had already had a good version of him. :)

Cody's visor and Bly's brown accessories are custom cast. They aren't painted by I cast them in different colors. :)

I have been a member here for a bit and don't honestly contribute much except for my shaless posting of my own work. These items can also be viewed on Flikr and CABG. The only paint is the top bar on the helmet. The rest is either decals or cast. I guess I should add a little description. :)

I am just glad that TLG did a properly scaled AT-RT. I really enjoy the smaller items with playability. Since I have that old jugernaut I will pick this up mod a few more AT-RT's and redo the entire vehicle using both sets.

Hopefully KimT is still mod and won't kick this too quickly. ARC Lieutenant by The Clone Factory The helmet and all body parts are official including the chest and back detailing. I painted the top bar and added decals for the face. The kama and pauldron are color cast items and the mini-gun is my own mod.

Thanks all for the replys. I do appreciate the feedback. Coloring up the orange with some dark grey would definately make the piece more realistic. It has been my goal from the begining however to create pieces that fit seamlessly in the Lego genre. Multi colored pieces are somewhat rare. In response to the blaster it was purchase form the little arms shop.

KimT: Please move this to the appropriate section when you woule like. While this figure is included in the Lego set 8016 - Hyena Droid Bomber, I didn't think that it was done justice. First viewed in The Clone Wars show "Rising Malevolence" I have been working on it for a while as creating a color match for dark orange was hard. The headlamp is removable but is also tight enough to pick the figure up by this accessory. I am not sure about production as yet due to a shortage of dark orange droid pieces and the difficulty in the casting. Stay tuned to my site when I reveal the new Droid Commando and some other small goodies in Sept.

I updated the site today with the final representation of the Droid Commando as well as a Clone Wars Lieutenant ARC Trooper. Cloth or Resin Accessory sets I have also looked at giving an alternative to the new plastic Clone Wars accessories. Take a look at the two photos and tell me which you prefer. The classic cloth accessory set as made by MMCB. Or the resin accesory set in new colors as casted by The Clone Factory. Both figures are shown in detail on the site as well. I can't really comment as people still purchase the figures at these rates. I did whoever feel bad once when I put 2 Heavy Troopers up for auction and someone paid over $100.00 usd each for the 2 of them. That, in my opinion was too much to pay. With that in mind I am creating the Clone Wars line to fit in with a $25.00 usd tag. So Captain Fordo will be sold for $25.00 usd. Thanks all for looking.

DarthSion, Thanks for the heads up. Just a thought though, while I may be a vassal (what ever that is) I have constantly added to the community and am offering some unique items that if pulled I will just sell elsewhere. So if you want to deny your community peers that opportunity than keep talking. djmangunz, Here is an example of one that I did. I wasn't happy with the front breather so I redid that part and realized I wasn't happy with some other parts as well (mosly symetry). This item looks to have a permanent place in my To Do file.

I am currently working on some Driod Commando models and was wondering what color do you think the torso and head should be. I have already decided on a dark bluish gray for the limbs. I was going to go with the sand red for the torso and head. Now I am considering Dark red instead. Any thoughts. Here are some preliminary shots of the model. I know the head needs to taper more.
