I found this in my closet yesterday: I got it from LEGO after spending $75 on a set. What I want to know is if this thing has any real value. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

When you said Mustafa, I was expecting a scene from the Lion King........ Did you mean Mustafar? -

I know I don't post a lot, but I saw this contest, and I thought I might as well try, you know? Anyway, here is my entry. Enjoy: "12 years after the fall of the Empire, Han Solo marries Princess Leia. 8 years later, on an unidentified planet, Han Solo and his young son are enjoying a game of catch in a field. When Han overthrows his son, the ball rolls into the forest behind them. They both chase after, but suddenly freeze once they catch up to it. There is something up ahead. Is it an A-Wing? Han's son hops on top of it to look around. He yells: "Dad, what is this stuff?" But Han is already deep in though, examining the helmet in front of him......." An overview shot http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=5739768 Han Solo examining the helmet http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/Paddyb98/Myfolder/thumb/han.jpg_thumb.jpg Han Solo's son examining the A-Wing http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=5739114 The remains of the engines. http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=5739121 Another shot of the A-Wing. I'm currently having a lot of trouble with the pictures, I'm aware. I just wanted to put this out and any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Can somebody tell me the name of the droid that speaks with C-3PO early in Return of the Jedi to assign him his work in Jabba's Palace? I believe it was the same type that helped Padame give birth.

Really nice work, BelosveT. I've always like like stations with multiple platforms. Please tell me the cop won't make that band leave.

Hey guys, I just noticed that on the S@h site the release date has been pushed to December 31st, rather then January 1st. Edit: My bad, didn't read most of the thread.

I'm not familiar with many trains from Norway, but may I suggest this model from the hobby train set?
-
What type of motor did you use?
-
Are you saying that Norway has Christmas-themed trains as transportation options? I know where I'm moving...
-
Damn. I thought I finally did something useful on these forums. Alrighty then....

It is my understanding that one of the many reasons that 12v set 7760 Blue shunter is so sought after because of its many many rare pieces, one of which is the blue train doors. However, in my recent quest to find all of the pieces so i could have my own without ridiculous sums of money, I came across this: http://www.bricklink...sp?itemID=9610. 8 bucks for 10 doors with windows? I think that's a steal. I hope this is helpful, and if it isn't, feel free to bash me and close this thread. . . Thanks for reading!

Paddyb98 replied to WesternOutlaw's topic in LEGO Train Tech
I hate to ask another question, but on bricklink many of the results for the 9v transformer say European version. Could somebody please clarify as I am now hesitant to buy any of these if they are not from the U.S., and it could save me $20.00. Thanks!- 578 replies

That was really nice. Throw some decals on that and you've got a nice diesel loco.

Hello everyone. My name is Pat, and I recently got back into Lego trains. I was a really big fan of HO scale trains after my friend showed me his room. (With a table mounted to his wall with two separate layouts. The coolest HO scale setup I've seen in a very long time.) I plan to get a 9v train to power my MOC's because it seems far superior.(Correct me if I'm wrong.) I am a fan of electric locos more than anything, but I like to stay open to other builds. Thanks, Pat.
-
I agree with Hrw-Amen. A picture or two with a train coming in or something similar would be nice.
-
I am totally getting 2 of them. That is the coolest thing I've seen since I had my EN display. Damn............
-
I swear if I could build like that..........

Thanks for the feedback, everyone. I only need one engine to put around my Christmas tree, and it seemed like a good option. I won't be buying any Enlighten track, and I will probably getting my first 9v after Christmas. (For the record, I actually have a few sets, but my friends really don't understand the meaning of the word gentle.)- 578 replies
