  1. Any new pictures of the gungan sub? I really hope regular male hair on Obi-wan was preliminary and he gets a new hairpiece(or the one on my avatar).
  2. It is a shame this moc will not be completed, it looked very promising.
  3. Again cheers for the comments. I submitted the design in CUUSOO: http://lego.cuusoo.com/ideas/view/12575 (I hope it is not against contest rules)
  4. can you upload the picture again, it seems it is no more available?
  5. This is so beautiful My favourite detail is the placement of brown tiles to create a texture. Is this based on something or is it purely your design?
  6. I think this is well designed, great angles in this scale! Although I would think about designing the minarets a little bit different, it is your artistic interpretation of the structure. Also, can it be built with pink/dark pink pieces, I don't know if all the parts are available in that color?
  7. Thanks all for the kind words again :) Updated the first post.
  8. Thank you for the kind comments, I will be uploading pictures showing different angles.
  9. Hello, update:
  10. St. Basil’s Cathedral?!! I am really curious how TLG would create that thing?

    Farewell

sorry hear that, but good luck with your life! and may the force be with you...always!
  12. I've checked the parts in Bricklink, and I saw those arch pieces are not available in dark red anyway, so it will be tan. @CorneliusMurdock, I can throw in a few sand red pieces, but since it's in mini scale, it won't look random enough..(and the sand red parts are very pricy!) @Slick Willie, putting screw drivers is a good idea actually, I'll consider that! Thanks for feedback everyone!
  13. From Wikipedia; "Hagia Sophia (from the Greek: "Holy Wisdom", Turkish: Ayasofya) is a former Orthodox cathedral, later a mosque, and now a museum in Istanbul, Turkey. Famous for its massive dome, it is considered the epitome of Byzantine architecture, and it was the largest cathedral in the world for nearly a thousand years." The building in real life: Hello, I have completed my design of the Hagia Sophia in landscape style for the architecture contest. I am open to any comments and criticism, hope you like it. Come support my new project on LEGO CUUSOO so it can become an official LEGO product: http://lego.cuusoo.com/ideas/view/12575
  14. My design is almost done, after that I'll be bricklinking the pieces and build the real thing hopefully.
  15. I got it now, it is the zone in miniland, right? my answers: 1) b. 100 2) to see the true scale of the models and the whole creation!
  16. when you say zone, do you mean the movie?
  17. Why are there 4 commander droids?
  18. Just awesome! Both the droids and the STAP are very well built!
  19. awesome! I think I made a very, very inaccurate version of Millenium Falcon, back in 1996-1997 but never took photo of it :/
  20. I actually found what that thing is, it is an energy droid of some sort, and although there is no wookiepedia entry of it yet, there is a yodapedia entry(dutch). I found it in the new Episode I: The Expanded Visual Dictionary. http://nl.starwars.wikia.com/wiki/GZ-5_Energy_Unit
  21. Does Obi-Wan has a new hair mold? or same classic hair or hood?
  22. oh happy birthday!
  23. yeah actually, I always thought Lego threw that thing which hardly resembles some vaporator, but I didnt think it was based on anything. It is pretty accurate actually. Well that will remain a mystery for now, but when I was a kid(1999) I always assumed it was meant to be this from the TPM video game(which was never seen in the movie):
  24. I'll join this one, as TPM(along with EBS) is my favourite SW movie. I am thinking about a Mos Espa scene, also the Trade Federation command ship bridge. Speaking of TPM, today I found something that surprised me, if you remember the Lightsaber duel set from 1999, there was an odd shaped moisture vaporator included in the set. Well the picture I found shows the real thing it is based on: comparison:
