I've done that with my 7938 passanger train and I got thoose black things to be able to stick out both of the cars. And I did not have to extend the cars.

if you let the back wheel pivot on the same boogie, you can put wheels on the third part of the wheels.

Are thoose trains motorized?

sounds cool. I dont see any realistic uses in it though.
