  1. Interesting take on an underwater theme...still, I might be giving this a pass... That octopus king does look pretty sweet though. As Deinonychus said; Lovecraftian awesomeness!

  7. ... Darn you college! This would be a fairly neat job to have, but as mentioned before... I'm busy furthering my art knowledge.
  8. Nice little vid KDog! I found myself headbanging throughout. As for the vid hangups, there's two things you might try. One is to convert the .wmv file into another video format using a video encoder like SUPER. This might work as I recall having similar problems while brickfilming. The only problem is figuring out what you want from the slew of settings; the video format, the audio format, resolution, codec, etc., etc., etc. Option two: submit to the Youtube gods! XD Seriously though, sometimes those bugs go away on their own right. Still, if they don't, you can always contact YouTube tech support. :) Another option in the same vein of option one just came to mind! Download your vid off of YouTube using keepvid.com (which can convert the film to an .MP4) and re upload it. ^_^ Cheers! -Nich
  9. When I saw the title, I immediately thought of the Song of Roland. That's a Western Literature based education for ya! Great job! French knights best beware...
  10. Ha! Schwartz's last line had me in stitches! Nice work with the sketches! It's cool to think that minifigs dream in colored pencil! Wish I could...
  11. If this doesn't win STAR, I will be surprised... What an amazing piece of work! 8O
  12. Wahey! Very nice! Every time I see a new Dalek MOC, it seems the designs get better and better! As for the Doctor; not bad at all! Keep it up sir! -Nich
  13. Rather excellent! Was this a first attempt at a model like this? In any case, kudos! ^_^ Reminds me of Fred Rogers of Mr. Roger's Neighborhood.
  14. The Potcheens- Off to the Alehouse 'Cause the only thing better than punk is Irish punk.... and the only thing better than Irish Punk is Irish Pirate Punk.
  15. Now that there's a segment for these, I present to you my films (if they can be called that XD ): Adriatic Ace Productions I'm a bit miffed that I haven't been able to work on my technique more and release more films due to college...still, there's always the future, eh? ^^; Comments and critiques are welcome.

  20. Very nice! I love steampunk cosplay. There was a very good steampunk cosplayer with a huge cannon at the con; I practically begged him for a pic. XD So many cons you can go to though! @_@ Lucky! Fun stuff going out in public in costume...I ate lunch in a crowded restaurant in mine...luckily I was with friends! ^^ Yes indeed, cons are awesome...looking forward to going to more! Good luck with all of yours! :3 Cheers! -Nich

  23. How I spent my spring break! Crossplaying as Chun-Li XD It was rather fun; I got tons of hugs, high-fives, cat calls, and compliments (and mostly from girls, believe it or not)! I'm already planning for the next convention in September! ^^ More pics of different characters. Cheers! -Nich
  24. Here's an old MOC that I made a bit before the Humboldt-22; the Space Police II Corona Cruiser (previously known as the Patrol Craft...reeeeeal imaginative). When I was little, I used to build all my space police ships like this ( albeit the minifigs were just Town cops) so it was nice to return to an old style I know and love. Kinda looks like a Trekkie shuttle in retrospect.... Here we see it with its landing gear down. The front. Landing gear/wings up. The engines. And the interior. "I want you for Space Police II! 'Cause criminals who wear neon green B's on their shirts aren't going to catch themselves!" I actually had a nice little base that accompanied this with a holding cell and landing pad, but it got smushed during the move to the new apartment...maybe I'll piece it back together later.... Comments? Critiques? Cheers! -Nich
  25. Great job, once again KDog! Love Valkyrie's alliteration! Cursed cop indeed! On a side note, I was thinking the other day; now that we have Space Police III on the way, have you been brainstorming on how to use some of the fantastic characters/ ships? Maybe it's a bit early to be asking, but, hey curiosity never hurt anyone (except a felonious feline or two). Cheers! -Nich (P.S. I think Meteor Madness would taste very troppical and would explode in your mouth like pop rocks)
