  1. Can someone actually build it and put up a video of it crawling or something, going over an obstacle.
  2. Thats a really nice model for independent suspension. Im trying to make solid axles though. Here they are:
  3. Not really sure what you mean.
  4. Its a Hybrid! Normal + Some trial truck elements. Im not sure what to put instead of the motor for the steering. :)
  5. Im being challenged because im a real newbie. Would you please keep me in touch? With this picture i think you just solved my problems. After I realized its wrong I knew i had to connect it to the "Differential casing" if you may say, just couldnt get it together on the parts.
  6. I see... How should i rework it? EDIT: Wait, im not trying to argue or anything or to get attention but wouldnt it fix if u add a hard connection between the two differentials?
  7. Attach them to a chassis and put a axle in the front at the same height as the back 2 axles. And check if its still the same.
  8. I got lost after these words- "Yes, a solid axle..." Worked on it a bit more. Got some shape. Body: Interior: And the back: (That is a snow plow in the corner)
  9. I wonder how it will come out. :D Thanks!
  10. I double checked everything after i placed it while thinking how it will affect the element im adding it to. There are actually some parts that would fit but because of the angle its hard to get them in place so they wouldnt connect. :D
  11. Okay: 1-Started with the axles and suspension. 2-Completed the chassis. 3-Completed the gearbox. 4-Added steering. 5-Adding tires and rims-I am right here.
  12. Its my first time so.. I didnt think ahead of time EDIT: I will use the Tire Baloon Wide 68.7x34 but i cant place the wheels for some reason inside the tire.
  13. I drew a picture. I think that the video shows the suspension i want to recreate. EDITl: How do you choose the right wheel for the right tire? I think i tried all of them :D
  14. Where are the springs in your model? There arent supposed to be any springs. In the model im trying to recreate its just based on the tires. How up or down they are. O-O If the O are tires and - is the element that connects both tires so it will balance then: if the first tire goes up like this O_ the second one will go down like this:_ With _ being the connection/spring what ever it is called. (__________)O ignore the stuff in the ( )
  15. Well isnt that what i did on the back? Pretty similar. :D
  16. I dont understand the kinds of axle's you are talking about. :D The connection between the joints and gearbox I will join at the end because there still might be some rebuilding there, just not sure yet. But, can you explain your question better because i didnt understand it completely. Thanks. EDIT: This is the suspension i want to have on the back: http://www.scale4x4rc.org/forums/showthread.php?t=17133
  17. All i can is that I laughed really hard when i read your post! (ROFL) Ill change it. :)
  18. Im pretty much finished with the chassis. There are some things I couldnt align such as the gears and 1/2 of the suspension arm while they seemed to fit perfectly. Top: Sides: Steering: Gearbox: And the suspension in the back: What do you guys think? Im posting up my progress so you guys can tell me if im doing something wrong or not using a brick/piece correctly.
  19. Found it! Thanks! :)) Turns out it was the 40x6m one. :D
  20. Thank you guys, For the motor im not really sure which one is the XL and how they are classified because in LDD i only have 40x6m, 24x6, Tacho motor, and Engine. As the suspension goes i will most likely go with 3 solid axles where the weight is being balanced on the back wheels and thats how travel occurs. (I dont know how to explain it :D)
  21. Hello guys, I just joined. I have been working on a project myself. A 6x6. All I have are the axles and the motor connected with shafts because im still not sure how to create the suspension. Tell me what you think. :) Here it is: Version 1: Suspension Version 2: Suspension 6x6.lxf 6x6-2.lxf
