The Slave I is supposed to be just slightly smaller than the Millennium Falcon. I'd say they got the scale as close to minifig scale as possible.

What are the dimensions? I can't make them out on the box top.

Considering the Slave I is only slightly smaller than the Falcon, I'd hope the scale changes considerably. If they keep using that same canopy piece that they used in 7153, 6209 and 8097, it won't be a UCS. There's little reason to buy it if it's similarly scaled to the others.

Just got the SSD Executor and UCS R2-D2

TLG is really good about replacing missing parts. While I've never had anything completely missing, when I was building my SSD two weeks ago, there were eight 2x10s missing and there were eight unused 2x12s in their place. I contacted Lego, and had replacement parts within the week.
