Ah I see what I mean about the drop but it still looks awesome. I've also built that model from the hobby set before, it's in my flickr lego set. The hobby train is defiantly one of if not the best value set I've ever bought! Hope we see some more RC mods posted :)

I've been bored with having just the 7897 intercity style train to pull along the models I've been making from the hobby train set so I decided to mod the 7897 loco with one of the trains from the hobby train set. I think it worked quite well bar my lack of lego bricks to fill in the slight gaps left by a longer RC base plate. But at least I have a different RC loco to control! Yep there is new lego creator sets available on S@H uk store including the ferry. It's £49.99 but you can build a ferry or a hovercraft or a passenger plain. You get 1279 pieces so for that price it seems very much worth £50! Check out this and the other sets too!

U guys are so lucky :) wish I'd got an extra bag! I noticed the kayak is now on S@H for £2.49, it's got very few parts but the minifig has a nice head to it.

looks like the coastguard kayak is now available to buy on the lego online store for £2.49 Lego store kayak page . Also the new batman set is available too with the hammer big wheel truck.

Yea I was thinking that the boat was the wrong colour but least it's nice and bright. In reply to xenologer , Im not too sure about technic wheels sorry.

I now have pictures of the Truck and speedboat up. For the price of the set I'd say its really great value. You get some nice minfig accessories with the set and the figs themselves are smart with red shades/googles on one and sun glasses on the other. There's also a nice coast guard helmet plus scuba gear too. There's some nice new parts in the set including the mud flaps on the trailer, new wheels on the truck and the base of the speedboat is a nice solid piece. All together I'd say £17.99 is a great price for this set and if I was a kid who got to play this as a toy I'm sure I'd find hours of play time in it. Quad bike is a nice little build, it's quite smart once built with some detailed wheel guards. The colours of these sets are something that really stands out and makes you want to own them I think! Nice detail on the minifigs too! Once again click for higher res ( linked to my flickr this time)

Hehe I'll build the quad bike now should take 2 minutes, but I've got work soon so I'll probably build the truck and boat later to relax.

Hi, as a new member I'd like to first say hello to everyone. But on to the good stuff I've just received my coast guard sets from S@H. I only ordered the quad bike and truck with speedboat for now but I'll probably get more at a later date. Once I've built them I'll be sure to post more pictures into this thread of the models.
