  1. Hi, hope I'm welcome here. I have always enjoyed using Lego and even as an adult think their construction ability is very handy. So jumping in at the deep end, can I ask the forum and community a question? I've been wondering about a Lego idea I had ages ago. So being able to ask for some feedback on how to make it work or if anyone else would find it interesting would be a great help. I was wondering about making a USB to lego adapter. Not the type that you can already buy, but an actual Lego shaped block for sending data. Would anyone else think this would have interesting uses? For an example of what I was thinking about, I've uploaded my original drawing. It's from way back (2002!) but it's the type of thing I'd consider making with a service such as Shapeways. Oh, I've added an example of a modeled brick too. Sizes would match normal Lego. However, to keep it simple, I will aim to just have a USB to brick adapter for now. This would allow any usb "device" to be put in a Lego shaped block, and stacked to be used in any arrangement. I'm able to model the parts, but attachment to a USB socket or Hub would require "self assembly" right now. :P Would such an idea get any support? Thanks all!
