  1. Excellent creations, man! I love the old CnC games, and these are some damn good renditions of the tech. I'm particularly fold of your MLRS; that's one slick mama.
  2. Holy hell, that is a beautiful piece of work, man. Staggering scope and I love the colour scheme. Great stuff!
  3. Really slick-looking moc! You've got those angles down to a tee, and the small splash of colour from the ship really sets it off. Top notch work, sir.
  4. Really cool moc, man; made more so by a wise application of teal bricks, which you seldom see. Well done!
  5. Ah, I remember this set; it was pretty nifty. I say, either put that baby on display, or rip er' open and enjoy some early 90's Lego goodness.
  6. Rad mech, man!
  7. You big mustard tiger

  8. Very cool, man! The loose bricks for the water gives it a really neat tiled effect. Also, that foliage is damn near making me drool.
  9. Looks great! Very appealing colour-scheme, and I love how smooth and streamlined you've made the whole thing.
  10. Excellent, and thorough review, man. This was my first set, actually; It's a blast to play with, eh?
  11. I hear that! I remember when I heard that Free Radical was getting shut down; my mind wasn't taken with thoughts of unemployed game devs and their families, but rather whether or not it was going to affect my my ability to play Battlefront 3 any sooner, haha.
  12. Ahoy there. Heres' a mech I've been puttering away at for the past few weeks. She's kind of bulky, but it was a fun build nonetheless. Hope you get a kick out of it! There are a few more shots of her on my mocpages, as well. My link
  13. Really eye-popping moc, man. The beauty is in how simple it is overall, but how incredibly polished that simplicity is. Great colour scheme as well; a scant dash of pink against the dark green and light brown really puts you in the mind of being in a Japanese garden. Good stuff!
  14. Eh, I'm always interested to see the Star Wars IP going in new directions. They've milked the clone wars saga pretty heavily thus far, so a bit of freshness couldn't hurt, says I.
  15. I ultimately want to make a go at stage acting, but at present, I'm working freelance as a landscaper/mason. I love working outdoors, and I've always had an interest in creating garden spaces.
  16. Excellent review; many thanks. I quite like the looks of this set. Lots of good bits, and thankfully it's not dominated by massive, chunky parts designed to make the set appear larger while reducing piece count.
  17. I hear that, haha. Being an adult and still finding time to really throw yourself into a creation is a delicate balance at the best of times. Not to mention having to justify to friends and family that you can't go out to the bar, because you've got to hunker down and figure out some fandangled new building technique. Mind you, I've often found that booze and lego combined in isolation can actually make for some vastly broadened creative thinking. As for organization, I've always stuck to 3 main part groups: fat, flat and funky. I've recently expanded that to include colour, although I would like to refine my system to separate certain Technic parts that I find myself using all the time.
  18. Stunning, man. I love the multiple levels; they really give the moc a lot of intrigue. Little touches like the display cases are just awesome as well.
  19. This is a wonderful castle you've put together here, man. And it's so deliciously smooth!
  20. I don't really have any particular kind; I usually just make shit up and go from there, haha. As for scale, I like to make them able to house minifigs. Here's one I finished this morning, The M-13 Bastardly Blue. I've got a few more on my mocpages. Thanks for your interest! My Mocpages
  21. Excellent use of green; not too overbearing, but just enough to really make an impact. I like the shape of this thing as well, it really invokes memories of classic space sets of yore. Fine work!
  22. I've been jamming out to this guy all morning. Sometimes, we all can use a good Rodding.
  23. This thing just oozes class. Nice build, man.
  24. Good grief, this is fantastic! I like the gold foil trick you used, and the dragon looks supremely articulate to boot.
  25. Lego and university never crossed paths for me. Besides the challenges of not losing pieces in cramped, student spaces, the allure of binge drinking and reckless drug use more than made up for my brief hiatus from Lego. I suppose I could have brought my collection along when I lived alone in 4th year, but I didn't want to jeopardize any chances of canoodling with the opposite gender. Needless to say, post graduation, I'm back into the brick building habit, full swing.
