  1. Thanks for all the help- To answer some questions: Are you able to read the numbers on the diode body? No, it was damaged by battery corrosion. I could trace it out also but I thought I would ask here first for a schematic - nice sight for Lego enthusiast!   2. Yes, that is the whole assembly in which the power board is in. Do you think anyone here would have the schematic for the board so I can fix the one I have that is not working? I'm a tech and have a variety of parts available but need to know what the value of ZD1 is because it is defective. Thanks for the help.
  3. I have a 7898 power board with a bad ZD1 (zener diode) on it but don't have a schematic to find the right value to replace it. Does anybody have some technical data on this board or info on how to get a replacement board? I would rather fix it if possible but would get another one if need be....thanks.
