You're right about the section between the two rows of columns being a little too thick: problem is that the section above the upper row is structural, since it keeps the whole roof in place, and I couldn't make it any thinner. For the sake of keeping the visual balance of the building I decided to make the lower section in the same way and, as a result, the whole thing is a little "stockier" than the original.
Btw, as I was talking about reverse-engineering other people's MOCs...my first successfull attempt was your Metlife Building! Great model and I had a lot of fun trying to understand how you had done it!
