  1. That's really nice - I like it a lot. I like the way you've continued the use of the cinema colours. Like a lot of people I also had the same idea but I was going to make mine look like a converted old building. It'll be all gray apart from the cinema front... here it is at the moment: http://www.flickr.com/photos/dougidle/2420493457/ At the moment it's only a front and it needs a lot more detail to be added. I've got a couple of projects on the go at the moment but this is my next one. Cheers, Doug
  2. Thanks for the comments everyone - I guess yellow isn't everyones cup of tea (but is mine) :-) Yes, it's an appartment on top not a cafe. I wasn't sure what to do with the other floors but I didn't want to leave them empty - an appartment seemed the obvious choice. Here's the picture of the back you asked for Dr. Brick: You can also see some more shots on flickr from here if you're interested: http://www.flickr.com/photos/dougidle/sets...57603870321550/ Cheers, Doug
  3. Thanks for the welome Captain. I already managed to work out the links as I've just posted in the town section too. Cheers, Doug
  4. Hi Everyone, This is only my second posting here (my first was in the intros section) but I thought I would post some pictures of my modular bank I built a few months ago to see what you all thinkand hopefully get some suggestions for improvements (I still need to add an ATM on the front). I took the old yellow Metro Station as it's inspiration and I'm quite happy with the way it turned out. It also has a full interior: Cheers, Doug
  5. Hi Everyone, This is my first post on EB although I've had a look about several times before joining. My name is Doug, I'm 32 and based in the UK (I'm a member of Brickish). My main interests are town and maybe a bit of train and star wars thrown in. Like a lot of people I've recently been building a lot of Cafe Corner compatible buildings: a Police Station ( ), Bank ( ) and Petrol Station ( ) which you can see from my flickr account. My Police Station is currently on display at the Lego brand store at Bluewater in the UK if anyone is passing by. Cheers and I hope to talk to you all soon. Doug
