  1. Target in Melbourne CBD had farm on Friday (27th) no sale though.
  2. I'd love to enter, we don't get the polybags here (though occasionally they turn up later in little boxes)
  3. I call it Lego because that's its name (even though it really isn't accoringt to Lego TLC). I'll use Legos if i'm joking, and i'll bother to call them Lego bricks if i'm being faecetious or pretentious.
  4. I like it, nice worky-bits.
  5. Neither of the TRUs I've been to in Victoria have had it (highpoint, chadstone), and I've only ever seen _any_ of the castle 2008 stuff in one of them once. It baffles me that we'd get the dwarven mine then nothing (it also discourages me that we never got the skeleton attack ship from 2008) I wonder if it's lego or the local retailers trying to stock only the licensed stuff that causes the problem. That noted, it seems Target are stocking more lego these days from a variety of sets, while I'm having less faith in K-mart who have been my go-to guys for lego over the past year... more star wars, less anything else.
  6. k-mart (northcote vic) had all the sets when I was there yesterday... IIRC the pricing was 19.99, 39.99, 74.99, 144.99. I only bought the 2 smaller sets, I can't really justify $150 for the temple particularly since it's one of those sets that uses a custom baseplate to give the illusion of substance.
  7. By that definition the new dwarves and the child in (greengrocer ? the anniversary town?) aren't minifigs because their legs don't move. -- My opinion is pretty much anything humanoid that can be used in a 'minifig way' ... holding stuff and/or sitting in stuff (I still count the new dwarves and such though I do think they're partially un-playworthy). I reckon the stupid jelly aliens are still minifigs, sucky minifigs, but minifigs none-the-less.
  8. Dwarf mine is widely available now at Target and K-mart (the ones in Victoria that I frequent at least). The new cargo planes (mail and the big green one) appeared at K-mart this week so hopefully some., new castle stuff won't be too far away.
