Has anyone considered taking an image of the printed dish into photoshop, transforming it to the correct shape and size, cutting out all the negative space, and then printing the image on a clear sticker?!?!?
I definitely think that starting a new thread for my project would be very valid. First of all I am living in Australia and there are some users who have been put off the project because of where they live, I am showing that you can do the project cheaper even than other users are making it in the States and Europe!
Secondly i am going to try techniques, such as the sticker idea I mentioned above, and painting/ dying pieces to save on pieces that are very rare, and ridiculously expensive!! I don't think other forums about bricklinking this set have included things like that. I want people to see that it is very possible that you can make this set with great results and at a reasonable price :D
And the whole process so far has been so much fun, I can't help but rave about it!!
