Just finished ASM #693 and I just want to say I REALLY don't like Alpha at this point! Hopefully Spidey does what I think he does in the next one

I really liked the Martian Manhunter and Dark Seid(?) ones! Even though I am a Marvel guy I can definitely appreciate all superheroes! Especially in LEGO form

It's definitely hard to work with so little time. I for one haven't even been able to sit down and build in the two weeks I've been here, but hopefully after getting into the flow of things some time will free itself up at least I hope so

In the Rumors and Discussion 2012 thread someone just posted a video that shows some pages from the visual dictionary. I couldn't find any invisible jet though I won't be holding my breathe on that set to actually be made, but that doesn't mean I'm against seeing pictures

Here is the link to Bricklink where you will be able to find single minifigures to buy. You will be able to see that since some figs are rarer than others, or in more expensive sets, they can cost a lot of $$$. If you are just starting out I would probably also suggest you start at Bricklink if you really only want the minifigures, or look into some sales in your area to see if you can get the actual sets for cheaper.

Not that we know of yet, but there could be some exclusives? And BTW I got #692 on Wednesday, and totally agree that Alpha would be cool! Can't wait to see some customs though because I doubt we will ever get one.

Consider yourself lucky my friend! On top of papers, quizzes, test, homework, and socializing, LEGO is just another thing that needs to be taken care of while in college! Or you can go ahead and knowingly suffer through a Dark Age...

I really like this set, for obvious reasons Although I am stuck in the situation of wondering if I should remove Spidey's blue arms and give him red ones to be more Amazing Spider-Man comic book accurate? Great review all around though! I am fairly new to this site but have gone back and read a lot of the old reviews, and yours always seem to stand out! I go to school in Iowa and the nearest LEGO store is the one that's closest to my home in Chicago That's cool that you go to school only 2 hours from NYC I'm sure you can get some fun weekend excursion out there at some point and go to the LEGO store there!

Nope no where near But there are Targets and Walmart so all is not lost! Back home in Chicago I'm pretty close to some LEGO stores so it's sort of strange not having any close! I guess we have switched situations here!

Guess I'm lucky I already got a gf who doesn't mind my LEGO hobby Just finished moving everything into my room and there are no shelves! Not much room for anything else besides displaying a couple of my figure on my desk, but that's exactly what I'm going to do!

As long as movie quality doesn't drop I'm ok with them cranking out the movies!

I feel shelving will be my biggest issue as well! I move in on Saturday and can't remember if I picked a room that had a little built in shelving or not? Guess I'll find out the hard way in two days!
