Spider-Man

So who is the cast of the Guardians of the Galaxy movie? I know Rocket Raccoon and Groot are pretty much for sure, but I have heard some rumors of Nova being in it! Is there any confirmed cast yet or are we still ways away from that?

I personally don't think he will....BUT I do think he could potentially get his own line of comics somewhere down the road! They set it pretty good for him to be a more noble hero and come back in a desperate time to be a great hero! I like how he has to learn to be humble now Also AvX finale next week!!! :wub:

You can hate the show but still like the LEGO sets! Its definitely not one or the other. Plus the next characters coming are pretty close to their comic book appearance so it should make a lot of people happy. Beetle, Doom, Venom, and Nova are all pretty much what they would look like even if they weren't based of the show

Oh ya I will definitely be in for Smaug! I am only saying this first wave doesn't appeal to me or make me think, "Oh I got to have that". I think in future waves there will potentially be more appealing sets to me Like I said before, I think I am a small minority here.

I may be in the small minority here, but none of these sets really appeal to me at all Maybe it is because I haven't read the book and I'm not as familiar with the characters as I am with the LOTR ones. I'm hoping there actually is an Eagle as well as some nice brick built spiders, but other than that there's nothing here for me. I'm still crossing my fingers for more LOTR sets simply because there are a lot of scenes and characters I still want! Nice predictions though!

Ya the continuity of these films it totally screwed up! Wolverine Origins and I'm sure in this movie he looks a lot older than he did in X-Men 1, which is supposed to be after all these movies Oh well I just kind of take the movies as they are and not worry too much about all that stuff!

In the first new clip he still has robot legs and claws, which I think make him look taller. So my guess is that something happens to them and he gets a more "normal" pair of legs.

Hopefully LEGO uses this movie as a way to make more X-Men sets! They can loosely base them off things from this movie, sort of like what they did with Wolverine's Chopper Showdown!

Those aren't really villains though. The New Goblin turns good in the end, and Peter's"Dark Side" is just Venom, the symbiote, taking over his mind so that sort of fits in the Venom category. Sandman and Venom were actual villains throughout the movie which is what I think he was referring to. As for when we will see these sets, I really don't think we will see them until maybe a couple of weeks or days before they are released. LEGO seems to have locked down all the potential leaks. I really can't wait to see the Bugle that is a definite must by for me!

I think he is referring to Spider-Man 3 which had Sandman and, a VERY disappointing, Venom.

Agreed Vision is a great character! He has been on my LEGO wish list for a while now Can't find a good way to make a good purist version of him for the life of me! As for his rights, I am sure they still belong to Disney. There is really no reason Sony would have his license seeing as he is, as beautifully described by def, pretty much solely an Avenger's character.

Extremis doesn't have to do with a suit case I think the suit you are talking about is the MK IV from IM2. It is similar I guess but not exactly the same. However that would be a sweet suit to get as well!

Extremis!?! That is going to be awesome! I wonder if they will make an Iron-Man with just a printed head for that! Look up Extremis if you don't know what it is because it could be a potential spoiler so I won't mention it here.

Is it really cheaper? I always thought it was around the same price, and for the little bit of extra cash I would rather have the physical comic! Plus you never know which comics will be worth a whole lot of money in 30 or 40 years

Hey glenbricker welcome to Eurobricks Your ship is really cool looking! The only thing I can say for improving it would be making it a little bigger, I know that is extremely hard to do, and maybe if made bigger make some more cabin space on the inside! The ship reminds me of the Ebon Hawk and I know that thing had a HUGE inside, so maybe something with just a little more detailed interior would get you some more votes! Other than that though I really like it and wish you the best of luck getting it up to 10,000!

I definitely agree with the majority here. I am hoping for a stop on Spidey sets after we get the rest of the Ultimate Spider-Man "Net Avengers". I don't want the market too saturated with Spider-Man stuff when Marvel is so much larger and more colorful then just one character, even though I do love me some me

Well looking back on it 76006 could technically be "Marvel 3" and 76007 is then "Marvel 4" just a place holder name for what we haven't seen yet, but then that leaves 76006 as either some kind of exclusive or the number was just skipped Because that set number is currently absent from the list (I am sure a lot of people have already noticed this as well).
