  1. Hi dude, I'm back! I would like you to know that I'm still waiting for your next updates and supporting you ( as much as I can on a forum ).
  2. First of all, I would like to thank the moderators, they gave me a second chance here After some trouble I got invovle because of me, some talks with the Moderators, they let me get back in the forum, so I'm here! Please forgive me for the second account, at this moment I thought it was not a bad idea (and I should read the forum's rules before, my bad...). So please delete/forgot the Hojo's account, this ( " the leading man " ) is the real me. I repost my presentation and hope, this time, everything will be fine^^. see ya soon! : Hi! As many of you may have already guessed, I'm huge Fan of , obviously, LEGO. I 'm 24 years old, live in south of France, and Collect Lego since my childhood. I got trough my dark age since two or three years now, but had to wait a job to get enough money for my passion. I'm HUGE fan of SiFi,( and the best are : Star Wars Mass Effect and Firefly.... Even if the last one is less lucky than the previous ), RPG ( videogame and pen & paper ), and comics book ( Batman & X-Men, the most ). Yes a real nerd/geek! In Lego, I'm not as skilled as I would be in MOC, so I'm just Collecting. Big Fan of SW series, but also interested in the MonsterFighters, Marvel & DC... By surfing on Flickr I've seen the galery of Darkdragon about in heroica RPG on Eurobricks, so toke a look and wanted to know more and be a part of it ( also the topic of Bricksandparts catched me, for his boardgame version ). I am on french forum about lego, but I want to "know" more, point of view of another people. Unfortunately , I don't realy have "real life" folks to share my passion so, Internet in my only door to a community! I think I told you the basics, but I would be glad to be accepted here! See ya!
  3. it can be easier, but i still prefer ( and if you need a stand for each monster/player, could take a lot of part :/. But you're right, i'ts a total lego touch ^^ ) keep updating, i've already token some of your ideas
  4. but in one thread : update/edit your first post for the current version of your rules (as sandy did ) and keep posting your update later in the thread. it would be better ( IMO ^^ ) anyway, your update look relay good, but in don't realy like the stat system, i agree it's realy simple to juste compare du size of the "values" but i prefer the classic "paper" system, but yes, yours is more "lego touch" ^^
  5. LOL you answered at all my questions ^^! sorry if you get trouble to understand me, I'm French and i understand better than i wrote english. I'l follow your topic because even i'll keep my own rules I may pick one or more of your ideas ( and specialy about NPC & Puzzle, it's the biggest issue i have, when you play in turn by turn and a player stop his mouvement at 3 squares than npc, so he can't speak with him...and has to wait untill his next turn, it breaks the rythmn ^^)
  6. your add-on look good! you don't change the basic, only add some rules more acurate for this king of game. But I'm curious to know how you 'll make the "quest/puzzle/npc" in the board game, or just use the board for the fights. also: if you change your job avec2-3 levels, but your new job give less HP than the previous one? and what boarf will you use? as we said the BQ use too much parts :/ , i use Heroclix ( miniatures super heroes fighting game ); each square fits perfectly for a 4x4 plate ( or a minifigures series plate ) : http://www.ianparmenter.com/hcutils/maps/BR.jpg
  7. I agree. that's why i'll made my own rules for my rpg+board game, and just adapt sandy's rules ( fun and easy to understand for people who don't use to play this kind of game ) in sci fi ^^ for me and friends . but if Sandy's agree, and if i suceed i'll post them in the forum. so many players play the her/his ( sorry ) rules, the sucess/credits belong to her/his ^^
  8. don't want to flood this topic, but I was working to a system based on my experience in miniatures games of my past ( Star Wars Miniatures & Heroclix for the most of them ). As i said, it's hard to mix fun et easy rules but still complex. I agree with you, BQ takes too many parts, even for 1 tiny room. I use Heroclix map for my session ( fit perfectly with a 4x4 plates ^^)
  9. great! you deserve the compliments. I'hve been looking/trying to make rules easy but enough complex to make real fun. I would like to adapt it in a sci-fi world to. so, thank u again, keep your game update, i'll folow it et maybe (if my work give some free time ) i'll play a character someday i you allow me, you should make a pdf of all your rules. You deserve the credis for them! there was brickquest, but i don't know if the game is still alive sure, it would be fun
  10. hi everyone! I'm checking all of your topics since several day ( a lot of quest are just amasing to read ) nad i think i'm totaly corrupted by the system, and me and some friend are looking for trying it in "real" ( we have map, minifigure etc..) BUT i' have an issue, nad i admit i maybe blind, but I cannot find the rule where it says how many dammage the monster give to heroes. You're all playing for a while so i agree, i'm blind, but please, can u help me: how can u know the dammage of a monster ?? thank you ! ps: congratulations to Sandy for the rules!
