  1. I have slept on it and am thinking now that the dragon, as gorgeous as he/she is, may be a lot of money for me to pay. I fear it may go for more money than I want to pay and don't want to be disappointed. So I may instead go for a huge lego brick I've seen, for the novelty factor, as it is a much lower price and perhaps buy him a set or two to go with it instead. Thank you everso much everyone for your help on this. I do appreciate it. I hope you won't mind me picking your brains another time on all things lego if I need too? Best Agnes
  2. OOo thank you all ever so much. Athos you ahve got me thinking about the possibility of buying several other sets instead but then I do rather like the idea of this dragon. Novelty factor if you like and he does like big things. legotrainfan, I will go and introduce myself shortly in the welcome section. how rude of me not to. Oh I really want it now .... here's the link, I hope: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...E:IT&ih=003 The other plus point is it's not too far from me geographically speaking, so I could pick it up but goodness knows if it would fit OK in the car but then I'll work that one out if it comes to it. Good and bad that you all think it is reasonably priced. One other question....How do I know it's genuine by the way? Thank you all everso much, I do appreciate it. Agnes
  3. Please forgive me, I am new here and I don't know if I've put this in the right section. Also, I'm ashamed to admit, I'm not a huge lego fan (although I did like to tinker a bit in my youth and good fun it was too). All that said I am writing to ask some advice and hope you can help me..... ...there is a 4 foot high green lego dragon for sale on ebay. One which has come from shop (ex display model I think). I have been looking for something special like this for my other half (who is a lego fan). Trouble is it has a start price of £250. This is a bit steep for me but I could manage it (If I remember how much i love him!), so my questions are: 1. is that a reasonable price to pay for a 4 foot lego dragon made by lego? 2. is it likely the price will rise (don't want to get my hopes up if the thing is worth hundreds). Hopefully you will all come back and say that's a ridiculous price to pay and I can get it for lots less :-D Looking forward to your insight as I haven't got a clue! Many thanks Agnes
