Minas Tirith looks amazing! Day one purchase. The hard part will be to chose which way to display it, the backside/throne room looks as incredible (perhaps even more) as the city.
-
Looks like the Sauron minifigure has different printing.
-
Wauw! Those would be the ultimate dream I feel the helmet and shield need their own mold, the existing shoulder armour piece could be used in addition.
-
But when Rivendell released they had already planned the following sets. The fact they branched out this year into a smaller set must be an attempt to measure what the interest is for more smaller sets? And then it was with a set where no interesting/new figure is present.

I do really hope we get a set next year. It feels like they were testing the intrest this year with Hobbiton and the book nook. It would be a shame if it ends now … Anything LOTR I will take (as long as it’s not those brickheads). For the CMF they can indeed do different costumes for the members of the Fellowship, like they did with the Harry Potter series. A LOTR CMF would be a dream come true.

Wasn’t it known last year around this time that we would be getting new LOTR sets in 2025? For 2026 it’s still unknown.

In the back you see the Helm’s Deep set next to the Woody and Buzz cardboard (?). I think you can even see the wing of a Balrog.

Fantastic job! Very recognisable. Looking forward to the rest of the build!

I’m trying to keep expectations low … but if the quality of Lars Family Homestead Kitchen is something to go by. An Isildur reprint isn’t that hard, they don’t have to give him a helmet (Mount Doom scene).

Is it certain that a fellbeast is coming with the Barad-dûr set? I hoped the GWP would be a Witch-King riding (flying?) a fellbeast, but if one is already coming in the set … it’s leaves room for more exciting minifigures (Isildur? )

Thank you all! I’ll look into it.

Thank you for the suggestion! It looks like a nice build, but it is rather small to act as a realistic castle. The ‘Mountain Fortress’ (https://www.bricklink.com/v3/designer-program/series-1/482/Mountain-Fortress) from the BrickLink designer program looks good as well, but the proportions are off compared to a realistic tower/fortification.

Really looking forward seeing the minifigures! I try not to expect to much, but it is so fantastic having a new LOTR set a second year in a row

Greetings fellow LEGO enthusiasts! I wish some input in a search for a realistic castle MOC that, so far, has been unfruitful. After scouring rebrickable, MOC’s Market and Google, I found only one semi realistic castle : https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-68151/SleeplessNight/lions-castle/#photos The only remarks I have on this one is that for a smaller castle the ornaments are to decorate and it only has curtain walls. To give an idea of what I consider as a realistic looking castle, is the ‘Castle Blaustein’ from Bluebrixx. Except for the small dimensions of the different sections, this is the kind of castle I am really looking for: fantastic floor plan, angular parts, rock work, different heights, wooden structures, .... As I am not so great in creating beautiful/realistic looking castles myself, I am in search for instructions to build one. Do you have perhaps come across other castles/keeps/fortresses that have semi realistic looking floor plans? Or is it an idea to contact the local LUG to see if there are some members who can create projects on commission? I am very grateful for any input or ideas! Thanks in advance.

Very exciting news! I hope we get new (orc uniform) variants of Frodo and Sam, and off course new orc prints and helmets in general.
