Hi there,
I’ve been lurking around eurobricks for some time now and figured it would be polite to finally register and introduce myself.
I’m 26 years old, living in the Netherlands. I recently came back to LEGO after years of only taking secret glances at awesome MOC’s online and at new sets whenever I found myself in toy stores. It started (again) when I finally bought the medieval village a few years ago. It looked so damn awesome and I've always been a fan of castle themes. Later I also bought the Volkswagen beetle, because I owned a real one at the time and the set looked great (and it is ).
A few months ago I gave in entirely and started figuring out how I could seriously get back into the LEGO game. I bought the kingdoms jousting set and quite a few Harry Potter sets, some really cools sets imo. I’m really looking forward to the new monster hunters and LOTR sets to. I’m mostly into historical and fantasy themes as you might have guessed by now.
So far I’ve only been collecting sets. However, I also want to start MOCing. I just have to sort out my LEGO’s in a way I can actually find pieces.
And I also have to figure with what I want to start with, which is harder then I thought. I have a lot of ideas floating around, but my lack of experience in MOCing is holding me back, I should just start and see where it leads me I guess. Part of the reason I decided to register here is that I hope to find inspiration and tips to get me started and off course to share my creations once I finally start and like the result.
Now that I've introduced myself, I'm of to reply to some topics I've been following.
