Found this picture on the internet while surfing for some ideas. Liked the pose of the pirate. Pirates need to relax also. Looked like some fast fun to see if i could remake it in lego. It may not be a big moc, but is was fun to make. Just to bad i didn't have some sort of jar. Also need a bit work on the underside of it. Black just doesn't work.

[pid][/pid]214B Hello all. Well, first moc after about 18 to 20 years. Just got all my old pirate lego's out of the box. In my opinion it turned out well. Thanks to a few people for some brilliant ideas. You will know who you are if you see it. Small dock with well armed guarding building. Place at the docks for some small trading and delivering of goods. Build in the style of the classic pirates series. The idea was to make something to go nicely with the Eldorado fortress and Lagoon Lock Up. No flickr account yet, so this will have to do for now. Any comment is welcome.

Very nice. Great to see what someone can make with the the bricks he has. Buying new ones is easy, but to do this is somewhat more of a challenge.

Hello all. Just a quick introduction. Real name is Sipke and i live in the northern part of the Netherlands. Just turned 33 a month ago. So i think i am not the youngest one here. The way i got back with lego is wanted to do something else than being always busy on my collection. So i got out our old box with lego and started building up our old pirates sets from the end of the 80's and early 90's. Most where the small pieces you picked up when you had some money. Lego store in our town had the store filled for almost 1/4 in those days. Should have bought way more in those days. Recently bought the sets i always wanted like the Black Seas Barracuda and Eldorado fortress. Trying to collect all the classic pirates, but that is not easy to get them in good condition and for a good price. Have made a start with a first moc after all those years and i think it turned rather well for a first one. Well, due to all the moc's made i could do up some good ideas. Well this should do it for now i think. Any questions? Just ask.
