I know we will not be getting new LOTR sets for quite a while, but does anyone know or think we could get battle-packs before the Hobbit release, or at least before the second wave of LOTR's?

I don't know how close you are to the Arizona border, but if you are willing to deal with the border wait time, you could come and get them in the states right now !

Thats exactly what I am thinking. I think I am going to modify my sets to have a larger area on top to place archers ( 4 mini figs wide) , and maybe with a finished line at the back so archers dont just fall off

Has anyone taken thought to how many Uruk Hai Army sets would be required to have a relatively accurate length for the deepening wall? I read that the wall stood 20 ft high, and could fit four men abreast in width, but I cant seem to find much on the actual length. Thoughts?

Has anyone tried using Brasso to remove the gold coloring on Eomers helmet? If you are like me and purchased multiple Uruk Armies, without the gold coloring on the helmet, the Eomer figure could just be part of Eomer's personal guard, or with a torso change, and maybe removing the green cape, you have usable soldiers of Rohan. Just some thoughts.
