Why not buy those few minifigs/pieces through Bricklink? About the set. I like the design of this one, but a really don't like the 33 stickers For me three or four stickers are max if there is no other solution. But 33? Nice review btw.

Good use of that raised baseplate. It totally has that 'ruin' feeling. Nice job.

Great review. Very poor design, especially the interior.

Voted for this one some time ago (when is was at the 3000 vote mark) and I am glad to see this one going all the way. It's a great idea and perfect execution. Hopefully Lego won't change much at the design.

A while ago at the age of 25 I just saw that big box with lego again and just wanted to build something. And I began to look at all these nice sets that came out the last 10 years. When I saw the Black Pearl I had to buy it. Once I build it I found the ship a little tiny in comparison to the grand ship in the movies. So I decided to go to Bricklink, made some orders and began to build my own version of it. Hope you guys like it.
