  1. I thought I did add it to this thread my apologies plus I don't own any kind of camera at the moment but I'll be buying one in the week so I'll have some pictures up next weekend
  2. Hello, everyone those of you who read my last post about my Avengers MOC will be pleased to know I haven't given up on it as I haven't posted in a while. In fact I was in hospital after my appendix almost burst (bummer huh) so naturally I haven't really felt like making anything. Anyway let's get back on track I've completed the road and Hulk is nicely positioned throwing a police car at the advancing skrull forces, now on to Ironman he's the only guy I can't think of a role for so here's my thinking I would like to make one of the warp whales that are a prominent feature of the alien forces, I have at home the pharaohs snake the Lego Atlantis shark and a whole load of bionicle, so if anyone out there can think of a way i could make one please share, Thankyou.
  3. Nice review, that's an awesome little car i like the silver frog hood piece its a nice touch, good job
  4. I Brasso'd off the silver space logos, and gave him the black ADU gun (from the space marine) and added a brickarms monopod and technic pin to give it some bulk. Whats Brasso?
  5. I bought the padawan menace on blu ray and it comes with a young Han solo and he's hair painted red would be ideal, I'm posting this on my phone so unfortunately I can't add a picture but I can confirm it can be found in Google images.
  6. Luke skywalkers hair from the latest millennium falcon set, painted dark red.
  7. Hawkeye flys a quinjet and if were spliting hairs its Steve Rogers not captain America riding the motorcycle.
  8. One thing nobody has mentioned is its not officially an "avengers assemble" line its marvel super heroes, so naturally these changes have been made to allow the figures to be released in fun playable sets, sure captain America doesn't have a bike in the film or Hawkeye doesn't fly a jet, but it doesn't make the sets any less cooler.
  9. I was thinking of something more midi-scale not overly massive but able to comfortably work with the mini figures. Although all those ships are very impressive.
  10. wow that thing is huge, I never really thought to search for aircraft carriers for a size comparison. its a logical choice now it seems it may be a bit too big thanks for the link.
  11. I went to see Avengers assemble for the second time last night and couldn't help thinking would it be possible to make a scale helicarrier, I know it may seem ambitious but it would be so cool. I don't mean the whole interior just a level of rooms below the flight deck and the control tower also the huge engine turbines.
  12. Dude, that trooper looks awesome well done, how did you make the transfers?
  13. Thankyou, I didn't realise there was a forum page for this kind of thing.
  14. cool, thanks buddy, that's a great help
  15. Does anybody know where I can get some Nick Fury vinyls? As I want to include him in an Avengers assemble MOC that I'm working on.
  16. All I can say is Wow what a movie, I'm even going to see it again tomorrow, but it has given me the insight I need to build my MOC I now know everyones role and I placed a massive order on pick-a-brick this morning, one thing I do need are lots more of Loki's army.....lots lots more.
  17. I'm off to see the film today, stupidly excited, so hopefully that will help with cementing an idea in my head.
  18. My mistake, I meant the jet you get in the Hulks helicarrier breakout set.
  19. Wow dude that's awesome a Lego Wendigo would be epic, one question do you know the part code for the flying stand that wolverine is standing on as I'm trying to get my hands on a few for my Avengers MOC.
  20. I love the idea of them all having a role to play especially hulk throwing cars, I'm gonna add lokis army to that bit and have a few crushed underneath cars he's thrown I've already got the perfect car models in mind I'm going to adapt the instructions for set 7236.
  21. Wow, lots of positive feedback, I like the idea of adding LEDs and subway entrances, I'm hopefully going to my local Lego store over the weekend and they have an instore pick-a-brick service, I have 1 slightly warped 32x32 plate so I'm gonna make a mock MOC, using studded tiles untill I get flats, pictures will be up by the weekend,
  22. Hello all, I'm a massive fan of marvel and have been since i was a small boy so naturally I've recently bought a few of the new marvel superhero sets. I have Captain America's avenging cycle X 2, Loki's cosmic cube escape and Hulks helicarrier breakout. Up untill now I've always quite happily bought lego sets made them up and be done with it but marvel is awesome and i wan't to make an epic MOC showing the avengers battling Loki's army (i know who or what they really are but don't want to spoil it for anyone) in the middle of Manhatten, the only idea I have for any basics is i would like it to be on three 32X32 tiles and have a row of buildings in variouse states of ruin, pavement (sidewalk) and a road. Plus if possible the Quinjet flying through the street so any advice, ideas, or opinions are welcome and greatly appreaciated, thank you.
