Typically how long do these UCS sets stay on the shelves for? I'm really keen to pick this up, but have to wait for a friend to travel to the states to grab it for me.

Yeah its on Amazon, but amazon won't ship it to new zealand. So the other option is using one of those shipping companies, but it looks like it will cost almost 150$ just for the shipping!

WOW 359 for R2D2! Jeez the markup for new zealand is ridiculous. Will have to try and source it from somewhere else. Meanwhile, can anyone recommend a cost effective way to obtain the death star set (10188)?
