I'm a long term Lego nut who is using having a young child as an excuse to get back into Lego big time
We've got the usual big tub of Duplo but we're getting into the hard stuff now! The boy likes his Hero Factory which has definitely grown on me.
Until this week the rest of the collection was mainly Creator sets (my favourite at the moment - I'm digging the dinosaurs and other critters) until we dug out the collection his Mum and I amassed from about 1992-2000. This includes some of the first wave of Star Wars sets which are proving popular! We've now got to the point where we can't find any bits so I've gone into obsessive sorting and storing mode. Should I be worried that I find this nearly as much fun as building the models?
Oh yeah, there's also my childhood collection from the 70's and early 80's which will have to stay in my Mam's loft.
I'm amazed by the quality of some of the MOCs out there and am trying to decide on a theme for my own efforts - when I get the time to make them, that is. I'm erring towards 1940s planes ATM. Which is odd because I don't approve of how violent Lego is these days!
