I must say that ever since I began collecting castle the sets are always repetitive, apart from the recent fantasy line, it's pretty much been the same things with different factions involved... And the fantasy line gave us a pleasant break from that but I must agree that I'd like castle to take a new direction, I'd definitely be a supporter of a more civilian themed castle line built around sets like the MMV. Unfortunately I don't see that happening any time soon

Great job on this one, it's always great to see many techniques combine to create an awesome end-product. My favorite part of this beauty would have to be the Swine Rider, with the caption it's quite hilarious. Great job!

Nice going on that, it really matches the scene well. Although for some reason it looks like the Asteriod has a chest burster

Grouping Factions into a Super Faction of Castle
Inertia replied to Cpt. Dan's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
I group the two new factions as subdivisions of the Crown Knights due to similarities in Uniform. As for the older factions, the only Castle sets that I really have other than Kingdoms and Fantasy are KKII and Ninja. After discarding the Jellybean Knights, I used the Scorpion Knights as Mercenaries like the Orcs were. -
I find it quite amusing how you've said that no one knows who the Mandalorians are, in fact they are EASILY recognizable to children, even if the name is unknown to them, they'll still know exactly what they are. I find the demographics much in favor of a Mando battlepack, simply because kids buy what is cool, and frankly I'm pretty certain that if kids find Clones cool, Mandos will be that much more attractive to them. As a kid, my favorite Star Wars character was Boba Fett. Most kids (including me back in the day) find him extremely cool due to the armor, badassness, etc... Kids are great buyers because of that, and their parents will mostly buy whatever the kid finds cool.

Does Space Police III promote racism and xenophobia?
Inertia replied to Sonic Screwdriver's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
As Peppermint M said, we've had this discussion before. As far as I'm concerned, people will look for an underlying trend, theme or problem with anything going, it doesnt matter what it is and what the initial theme was about, people will always find something wrong with it. So, judging from this arguement, when the aliens come and attack Earth, wont we all be happy that our little kiddies grew up in a society where they were trained from birth to be Xenophobic from the little plastic toys that they played with. Its a silly topic and a silly argument, overthinking things ultimately leads into things becoming much worse than they should be. -
I havent played Twilight Princess and I rather detest the art style in Phantom Hourglass and the other new ones. But I'm quite a fan of Oracle of Ages and Oracle of Seasons for the Game Boy Color. I like the atmosphere and mood in the game, the characters are quite good too... Except for that annoying female Maku Tree in OoA PLUS, it was a good change not saving Zelda for once.

American Pie: The Book of Love. Shocking movie. Shocking in terms of whatever happened to such a good series. Athough having 6 other movies which are rather good gives them credit for something I suppose.

That was a great game, I loved playing as infected, my first time as scum. We were pretty well coordinated by Draggy, the hive mind, who made it pretty easy for us to make all the right moves. I was a background player though, so I guess no one really suspected me.

Well... This is a rather new development that these two are fighting... They've rather swayed throughout the game back and forth, but lets see. Michael makes some excellent points and a list to boot. But so does Big Suze. Now, from what I can tell, both have been rather pointy, in the way of fingers, of course. Big Suze has escaped death time and time again throughout the game, without making much evidence, nor even killing an infected. So. From these deductions, shes either a very hasty person, or a wiener. Although I'm not entirely convinced yet. Although, shes the one thats been mostly pointing fingers, and all around transparent, laying the blame on others to get out of it. She's escaped death too. This sure is an interesting point. However, Big Suze seems to be winning the airlock toss in numbers at the moment, so lets look at this logically: -We vote Big Suze, she's a wiener. -Big Suze is tossed, and she's not a wiener, and Michael bites the dust. Seems to me we have little choice, the black hole is growing closer, and the AI is getting pretty bitchy lately, the quicker we get this over with and the wieners out of the airlock, the better. I can't wait to plot a course to Eroticon VI... Michael seems to have made the right deductions and gives the best evidence here. So... Vote: LtCmdr. Susan Antares/Shadows

Ahhh zarking fargwat. This is JUST what we need. The reactor chief goes down too... Now, the infected really are close to crippling this Vessel. We've lost our doctor, our head of engineering and now our reactor chief. He was really the only one suited for the job, too. Since he was, well... You know, a Rock. I have a pretty good idea of where my vote is going today, but I'm going to bide my time here. This is an interesting revelation I must say... If you truly are or once were infected, it might explain that there are more than one neutral players on the ship. Possibly Sarah, too. Big Suze, is... well. Rather hasty. I'm not entirely sure she's evil, but she can be if she wants... I assume, since she's acting commander...

Considering Engofi's attitudes towards us, he doesnt exactly seem like a helpful member of the crew. What does he do, anyway? Oh... He grows plants? Ah... I see... Well... In any case, each time we've voted we've never reached the verdict on anyone, and now the AI is threatening us too... ARE YOU ON OUR SIDE OR WHAT? You're going to die too, soon, if you dont hep us you come with us into the black hole. What a vitual space harlot. I dont wish to have an "accident" in the night thank you very much, Ivanova. Nothing personal, Engofi... Vote: Engofi / Eskallon

That's a good question, actually, care to elaborate?

You guys all seem to be so happy throwing insults at each other, that I didnt think I could possibly add any more to the conversation. Also, after coming bacl from my duties on the bridge, I was about to vote, but you'd all gone and the meeting hall door was locked, so I assumed that I'd wait till tomorrow. Remember, my planet and body clock runs on a different time scale to all of you humans and other assorted aliens, so I'm rather bad at timing. I'm not so sure we'd regret it. You're extremely suspicious, not to mention insulting. Don't threaten us, it's not like it'll help your case at all.
-
Seems like a good idea, a great idea in fact. We really need Shadows and Draggy to get it back up and running again though.

I've been busy with the Navigating, albeit theres not much navigating going on. I've been trying to find another course outta this black hole situation, looks like there ain't nothing we can do about it for the time being. Barney, this isnt a smart move at all, each person on this ship counts at the moment if we're to beat the infected amongst us. This is just getting more confusing as it goes along...

I'm not quite sure what to make of all this. While michael seems to have an investigator he has a strong case, yet it's entirely possible he was duped. So I'm not sure there and I'll hold off on that vote. However you seem awfully eager to vote for someone who voted against an infected who you are now accusing of being infected herself... I'm not quite sure what to do at this point. You all make compelling cases, it's starting to confuse me...

Florentzia, I find that your defense is purely insulting towards everyone, you seem resigned to the fact that you will die, abc thus you bring up guilt. While you might be loyal or you night be infected, at the moment you're getting on my nerves, nothing personal. Vote: JimButcher/Florentzia you also seem pretty shifty, and since you're the closest to the wieners you're a prime suspect. And you've just been throwing the blame around. Very seedy.

Infection - Confirmation & Discussion

Unless you happen to have gills or are a seagoing organism -
You're very eager to vote off a loyal crewmate, he's actually doing his job, you know. Personally, the second thing on my mind at the moment other than the Space Wieners is the situation we're in for the engines, he could at least look at them, see whats wrong. That always helps. I'm not going to put a vote against you yet, as I'm pretty unsure who to vote for, I'm sure we all have our suspicions but jumping at people at this point is still extremely unhelpful.

Infection - Confirmation & Discussion
Inertia replied to Quarryman's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Day 2 adds more to the drama I see. We have a timed mafia game? This indeed makes it interesting. Lets get those space wieners! I think the AI is allowed to do what she wants, after all... She IS the host... -
Oh dear. It seems we've lost our pilot. I've spent ages trying to see if i can be any use piloting this crate and if there's any way we can possibly divert ourselves from the current course, but unfortunately, I was never trained as a pilot. I think that the Security Detail would need checking, but its more than likely some people have their own weapons on them, we do have regulation weapons, I thought? This is the exact reason WHY we have those blasters, unfortunately, I don't think those drill sergeants back at the Academy would have ever thought of a ship being attacked by Space Wieners! As for Knives, it could be the Medical Detail, they have scalpels and other such pointy objects. But I'm not sure we should go and play the blame game, lets look at this logically, if there was a break in at the Armory yesterday, aren't there Security cameras? As for the machinery, I'm not really surprised at the Infected's actions here, they're crippling the ship! We have no pilot or chief mechanic. This is a grave situation indeed. I'm out of ideas. Anyone like to add anything?

Editing may be a sign of a wiener inside! But yeah, it doesnt help your credibility. -
Toasting Process? Not this again... Just please, watch what you're eating, if they get you, this ship is going nowhere. Just don't think that the camera's won't be on. I'm sure Security will get a kick out of that. As long as theres no wieners. I'm up for some nice leather, how long has it aged for?

Hey watch it, it's my job to navigate this tub across this blasted vacuum. But no one thanks the Navigator anyway. Hmmph. As for the Wieners why don't we just take the good ol' ways of hunting witches... I mean... Mafia... No wait it's viral organisms this time? Wow, time flies, unlike this waste of metal. Why don't we just tie stones to their legs and throw them into water? No... Wait, there is no water. I just can't have any fun round here can I? Well, seriously though, restricting crew movements is an alright idea, but no one goes alone, we don't want to leave an infected person in an important area of the ship. Everyone should be accompanied by at least 2 others, spreads out the odds good. Now I think the Security chief probably has better ideas than me, it's his job isn't it?
