  1. Here you can find an article about smooth curves where we have added a ZIP package with the smooth curves track file to be used in Bluebrick. http://www.alebricks...n-en-bluebrick/ To install these parts, you just have to download the ZIP file and uncompress it in the desired parts folder under your Bluebrick installation directory. There is both a Spanish and English version of the file though it's just a simple question of the word "suave" or "smooth" that is written over the track to better distinguish it from the regular straight track. If you wish to customize it, you just have to replace the GIF file with the regular GIF file of a straight track with the customization that you like, and rename it with the name of the original GIF file inside the package. I hope it can be helpful for those willing to plan large displays plenty of smooth curves.
  2. Hi, I want to report another fan event missing in the list. The fourth edition of MADbrick will take place in May, 5th-6th 2012 in Madrid. MAY events: MADbrick, the event to enjoy the Spanish sun and bricks. Madrid, Spain
  3. What I like fron this software is that is able to manage the new flex-track. Is there any other software able to handle them? It's not a killer application, but if they want, it can be. It just needs to be an stand alone application, layers, user defined blocks (baseplates, constructions...), and the possibility to export your maps to LDD or any other 3D software. Well, errr..... it seems to be a long road, hehe, I'll keep on BlueTrack till then :P
  4. I know that they must reduce the number of catalogue references, but if you're willing to sell trains you have to listen the customer tipical needs. Andy, you're right on the point that a parent would buy just one or two "mixed boxes" for his child to upgrade his layout, so these mixed boxes may be more attractive "to be sold as a toy". Anyhow, it's also well known that train customers use to upgrade and upgrade their layouts (there isn't enough track in the galaxy for my needs ), and the bigger they grow, the more straight they need. So, I think it's not foolish to demand them 8x or 16x packs with only stright track Flextrack is not so bad from my point of view, and can be used as straight, but to be honest, I don't find it a real alternative. Maybe we would get used to it, who knows? So... what do we have ambassadors for? Yes, I can contact LEGO, but our ambassadors should listen to our wills, and let them know how do their products meet our needs Edit: I read here they're considering the straight pack ;)
  5. YES I think TLC knows that we all need more straigts than curves, and also they know there is a lot of people who is buying track for their new RC layouts. If they sold them separated, they would earn not as much money as selling them in packs :( It's sad, I know. They should stop thinking only on money and think on their customers. I'm seriously thinking on a whole layout made with the cheaper Enlighten tracks, that are good enough for PF, and even if I put some copper tape on them, they would look lovely and realistic. If they want to keep their customers, they shall better think on our needs.
  6. Wow, I would love to join the Academy and learn from our master reviewers ;) It won't be easy as it means hard work to follow the lessons and make homeworks, but I'm sure it would be worth the effort.
