  1. This happened to me a couple weeks ago. I bought the Indiana Jones Temple Escape set off of eBay. It was my first eBay purchase, and of course, I was a little worried. When I got the set a couple days later, it still was MISB but the box was torn up, someone had written on it with Sharpie markers, it was in really bad condition. When I finally opened it up, none of the pieces were bagged, there were no instructions, no minifigs, none of the hard to find parts, they even took the sticker sheet! The worst part is that the eBay user I bought this set from suddenly deleted their account, so there's no way to get a refund. But strangely, they forgot to take the fedora. It was still in there.
  2. Yay! It's Pooh Bear! *remembers fond childhood times* These look really good, except I would suggest putting the smaller size minifig legs on Piglet since he's supposed to be small. Well, smaller than Pooh Bear, at least.
  3. Well, if it was me, I would choose Indy or Castle...and I would have a hard time choosing between them. Really, just try to think of what your favorite theme out of all of those is. Take these questions in mind - Which do you have the most of? Which theme would you like to have a complete set of? Which ones can you afford? Good luck.
  4. I'm 15, I work five days a week, and my mother does the same thing. She says that I should save my money for college. Well, I've already got four years saved up for, and that's all I want to for. I've got over $200 saved up....and I can't buy anything with it. I have a 4.0 grade average (all A's), I do way too many chores, and, no matter how much it kills me inside, I'm nice to my mom. None of that phases her one bit. And then she also gets into the 'LEGO is not for girls' thing... Good luck, Tom. In SW terms, May The Force Be With You.
  5. Oh, how I wish I could have gone.... But Chicago is nowhere near me. Well, there's always next year. Or do they host it in a different location every year? I'm confused....
  6. Why is everyone still talking about Code Lyoko? The show ended anyway! And besides, it would be way to hard for TLC to make minifigs of the characters. And for the Code Lyoko fans, I'm not dissing it or anything. I'm still a fan of it. For 2009..... Indiana Jones - For the love of all things holy and LEGO, Temple of Doom sets! We need to solve the Mola Ram crisis before it's too late! Castle - I'd just like to see some more sets. Hopefully not too expensive and hard to find in stores. It took me a whole year to find 7094...
  7. Welcome to Eurobricks! It's great to see another Indy fan here! And judging from your first post....somebody likes smilies!
  8. If you could, that would be great! Thanks for this, I really appreciate it!
  9. Now that I look at the magazine and the catalog.....that is really creepy looking. No one at the TLC noticed that? Maybe they'll look over them before they send them out next time.
  10. And that would be the first thing that would get you banned. Not a good idea... Anyway, if we're able to form one of these, count me in!
  11. That's amazing! And it's wonderful to see TLC raising money for charity! It took them 6 and 1/2 hours to build those!? Oh, I wish I had that time to build with LEGO....
  12. This is the best MOC I've ever seen in my life! Is there any chance you might have building instructions, Oky Wan Kenobi?
  13. Thanks, Luxor! You always do a brilliant job at making decals!
  14. Welcome to Eurobricks! I'm sure you'll have a great time here meeting and talking to other Star Wars and Batman fans - there are a lot here!
  15. Someone help Indy load up! He's going to fa- Nevermind, he already fell. Anyway, I like it. It's a lot nicer than the original one.
  16. Here's my cat, Susie: She turned 16 last March - that's 82 in cat years! And here's my goldfish, Bubbles, who passed away recently..... And here's my other goldfish, Tangerine: She likes me to set her bowl where I'm building with LEGO and watch me. She especially likes the Indy sets.
  17. Uh, late-welcome to Eurobricks!
  18. Here's a set I'd like to see from Temple Of Doom: Sacrificial Lair (the place where Mola Ram sacrificed people and almost got Willie). 728 Pieces. Comes with 8 minifigs, Willie, Short Round, Indiana Jones with shirtless torso, Mola Ram, and four of his goons. Around $80.00. Oh....that's my dream set, by the way.
  19. If you have younger siblings, and they mess with your LEGO collection, how do you deal with it? I've got a younger sister at home who has some problems (ADHD, etc.) and one of her favorite hobbies is to come running into the room and knock down whatever I'm building. My little brother, who is in perfect mental health, likes to do the same thing - little kids just find LEGO bricks scattering across the room so fun, don't they? By the way, they're 8 and 7....isn't that a little too old to be knocking things down?
  20. Welcome to Eurobricks! It's nice to see another castle fan!
  21. Personally, I'd get the Collector's Catalog instead of this. I swear, we Americans get nothing. You Europeans got the Castle sets first, and now this! I envy you all!
  22. Hi Christine! Welcome to Eurobricks! It's great to see another another female fan of lego on here!
  23. That is the saddest work of art I have ever seen. How many bricks were in the collection, anyway?
  24. Welcome to Eurobricks, Vladimir! I hope you like it here!
  25. I'd really like to see pictures of those when you're finished. I love Pirates Of The Caribbean. I'm currently working on my sig-fig.....just waiting for a part to come in the mail....
