Kanohi Ignika

All the parts are good, except one flaw: Makuta Teleportation power doesn't work from the outside into inside Karda Nui, and vice-versa (the walls are shielded against the power). You could edit it to make a teleportation chamber inside the Coliseum though, since it is a fan fiction. -Iggy

Ohhh interesting! I guess the life counter doesn't really do anything related to gear mechanism, which would have been cool (imagine each Glatorian's face/mask start to fall off the more "damage" they took). So Tuma has a double face mask huh? That seems interesting... -Iggy

Just curious about people's thoughts on the Glatorians, and what they are capable of. We know that Bara Magna and the tribes are extremely primitive, from using forged weapons to throwing hard fruit. But, what do you think each tribe can do? For example, Strakk of the Ice Tribe. He grows crystalline ice from his head (acting as hair), which he can pluck off and it regrows quickly. He can use it as ice darts to throw when he doesn't have a Thornax to spare! Or, Gresh of the Jungle tribe. He has a natural sense of nature, capable of communicating with local plantlife and flora, even to the point where he can control them with intense focus. Summon a shoot of vine from a tree, or sprout vegetation. Any ideas? :) -Iggy (these are just ideas, not actual facts!!!)

Interesting... Vorox and Zesk could be outcasts from the Rock tribe, thus technically not in the Rock tribe. Those two look like hunter and pet dog to be honest :p All the Glatorians look pretty savage, particularly Skrall, Gresh, Strakk and Vorox, only Malum and Tarix retain any noblity from what we've seen. I wonder if Thornax grows in every region? -Iggy

Always did took CGI of actual set packaging to convince me :p Though the Av-Packs don't appeal to me that much (as new line packaging), I must say that the CGI department did a great job on diversifying the backgrounds for our elemental themed Glatorians. Particularly Raanu, Malum, Metus and Straak! The fire castle and the ice cave looks marvelous (self induced names for settings), hopefully even more so in the movie! -Iggy

I hope the Thornax can be assembled, since it appears to be made of three pieces (two spiked yellow halfball, 1 black plate thingy). Tarix doesn't appear to have a Thornax launcher? -Iggy

... Once the spirit of Teridax is vanquished, the Matoran Universe can no long function. The lifeless body of "Mata Nui" fell onto the Glatorian continent, causing the second Great Cataclypse. The Kanohi Ignika was squished beyond repair, unable to cross 7000000 feet in time. -Iggy

Time froze after the departure of Chuck Norris, apparent residue energy that is rippling space-time continuum of the Glatorian universe... A gentle glow is seen in the sky, a small shape at first. Then, came a CRASH!!!! BOOOM EXPLODING OMG!!!!! that blackened the sun. A being emerged in a 10000000000 km deep hole, burying the bodies of many of the already dead Glatorian warriors, it is TERIDAX/MATA NUI, the MATORAN UNIVERSE!! It seems Mata Nui is not safe after all. -Iggy

Well, Greg did say the designers were really emphizing the combining gimmick between Makuta Toa and Matoran... At 40 piecies, Krika could have used improvement, but the classic slick and spicy look for feminines are here. I think she has Barraki eyes inside her ponytail mask. I think the net wings of Gorast should have been on his back, because they look like they will get in the way of posing, though not significantly. Heck, would it kill LEGO to make them not so RECTANGULARLY straight? I don't think real insect wings look like mosquito smackers. Bitil has potential, but he would have worked better with his "wings" turn into extra arms, with his hook-like weapons while not copied from Gorast. And the Onua shield become his back armor, giving him a real Beetle-look (six arms and a hard shell). Photok body is a definite no-no. -Iggy

Hmm... those green ammo appear to be VERY leech-like, the suction mouth part that is... I hope that they are actually fast multiplying plants transformed by the Mutagen, called "Bolo Weeds" because they wrap around and squeeze their targets... But that's just me trying to edit the BIONICLE story =p Why LEGO, why didnt you put a cool chest piece for Gorast?! -Iggy

I am getting Gorast =) Just wished his Inika body was coloured black and the neck metru arm lime green, then only his claws and the... air pump will be silver! BRING BACK THE ORIGINALS! STOP ABUSING SILVER AND GRAY! What are those projectiles supposed to be, little ghost-like phantoms? -Iggy

Roflmao. I would laugh if their projectile ammo was green seaweed, or mutagen mutated Kraata or mutage mutated Shadow Leechs with three to four stinger-like flaps. Green blobs of Jellyfish, Lego has finally lost it. Krika has that classic Korahk vibe to her :) SPIKEY GORAST FEET YAY Huge wings for Bitil O.o And you are right guys, the weapon IS Air-powered, if only this weapon was the Barraki's squid launcher =( -Iggy

Oh but it does, my friend. Krika is the only Makuta with a spine/spike ponytail attached to her mask, that makes it a strong evidence of a female part. --- Here are some Mistika observations!!! Toa Nuva Mistika/Misti-va Tahu Nuva Mistika: Tahu possesses FOUR jet engines attached to us torso, with two small jet wings on the top two. His primary weapon is a three bladed shuriken on his right arm, along with Metru leg armor for both his arms and thighs. His left arm carries the new Misti-va launcher, with what appears (and assumed) to be shooting a Zamor like the Midak Skyblaster of the Phanto-va. He has the Inika web feet, and wing-like blades from Gorast on his thighs. Gali Nuva Mistika: Described as the Bulk of the Misti-va, Gali Nuva possesses Inika leg piece for both arms and thighs. Her arm armor are Inika spike feet pointing upward, and she has Inika thigh armor turned upside-down for her thigh armor. She uses Metru feet, which have one Tahu jet engine on each to symbolize that she use those for flight/hoverage. Her mask may be translucent, and she has two Tahu small jet wings to act as her earpieces. It appears that she does not possess a weapon other than the Misti-va launcher, but it is yet to be revealed. Onua Nuva Mistika: He is most mysterious, but not enough to hide his details from my Photoshop skills. Onua can be described as a Hordika, because he has a Solek arm piece for his right arm and a Rahkshi leg arm on the left. His left Rahkshi leg arm has a Takanuva 08 chestpiece as a shoulder-mounted Shield, which makes him look the most animalistic and Rahi-like out of the Misti-va. He also does not appear to have a weapon other than the launcher. He has rightside-up Inika thigh armor for his thighs, and to our relief, he possesses a red small jet wing on both his shoulders, making him look like Rahi with jet wings! The leg, feet and chest are still too blurry, but I have pretty good idea what they are already (Rahkshi legs with red jet engines attached on its back) --- Makuta Mistika Makuta Krika Mistika: SHE, for starters, have a spiny ponytail on the back of her mask which extends a pretty good length and is presumed to be bendable material. The reason that her head looks nothing like the one on the back of the BIONICLE History booklet is because, it is tilted into a menacing/Takadoxish positio, plus the red paint on her ponytail beginning can be confusing. I used brightness/contrast to take a closer and detailer look at her mask, and the white in the background was hiding her spiny ponytail end. Her arms and legs are black Av-matoran thin arms (Radiak, Gavla...), which are fixed to 90 degrees. Her weapons are boney blades of white and blood red badness (no pun intended)! I assume that she will have four of these for both her arms and legs, or two new weapon molds for her legs instead. She will have a new chestpiece, no its not angled outward to represent the feminine side of things. Her launcher, dabbed by me the "BoneSpitter" because it appears to be a skeletal hand/rib cage crossbow that launches a green colour goop projectile, is a back/shoulder mounted launcher attached to her right side, which in the picture can move on top of her shoulder or beneathe the armpit (mind you) to surpise Toa. She is a definite *wub* at 40 piecies... *sigh* Makuta Gorast Mistika: He is one bad bug, I'll say. He appears to be based on the pond skater/skitter, which has close to four to six appendages in different species. Here, we see Tahu's leg wing blades as Gorast's primary weapons for his top two arms. His second lower set of arms have his two toed feet piece, which acts as his natural claws opposed to his protodermis weapons. The left arm's claw of the 2nd set holds the BoneSpitter, it is attached to his forearm and not held by his claws, convenient if you ask me. His leegs are only held by Av-matoran thin arm with Metru thigh socket connectors, and two toed bug feet. All his arms and legs use lime green Av-matoran thin legs, which make him seem a bit angled. Gorast's mask if frighteningly similar to Pridak's face, but to me it seems he opened his mouth to expose some fangs, as if snarling or screeching. It appears to be an Av-matoran head behind his mask, but we will see. His chest is a turned around INIKA back!!! They didn't even try to conceal it with another chest piece, a definite no-no. Finally, his top set of arms have glider-like wings attached. Makuta Bitil Mistika: Bitil is of bright yellow, not Keetorange! He seems like a hybrid between a wasp/bee with a beetle, where is name taken from. His mask is like an alteration of Radiak's without the six fangs, which is split in two in the middle like a Mask of Quick Travel (Iruini and Defilak's), it has a stylish triangular hole on at the back of his head and he has eye lashes (looking mad and evil). He has TWO Takanuva 08 chestpieces as his silver wings, which would look cool when folded back as back armor. His arms and legs are both Rahkshi leg piecies, YELLOW Rahkshi leg pieces (yay, now you can make a Rahkshi of Heat Vision from "The Darkness Below"). His feet looks like Gorast claws/feet, only all silver in colour. He seems to have Gorast weapons as thigh armor, connected by the black tube pins. The arms each have two red Viking tooth, from Takadox and Mantax, that points forward instead of put on the back of arms. He has dual blade weapons, only with the BoneSpitter on his left arm. Can't see chest... --- There you go, my six cents! -Iggy

Hmm... the bohrok eyes and Hordika head design suggest that these Makuta have been mutated by the Pit Mutagen! But Greg said that they were masks... Cool :D -Iggy

Krika's mask looks like a merge of a Rahkshi head and the Miru Nuva mouth piece O.o I assume that Bitil is at the left side, and he's got spikes! I wish LEGO gave the Makuta more pieces though, they tend to favor Toa more -.- What is that thing on Krika's shoulder? Looks like a pimped up Zamor holder! -Iggy

It appears that the Axalara T9 have a compartment to its front, where the two Midak Skyblasters are attached to the FOUR (top two and bottom two with spikes) side panels that can open up to reveal them... I wonder if the gun-like trigger below proto Lewa has anything to do with that? I hope there will also be other functions on her :D Yay near 700 pieces!!! It appears that Onua Nuva's domed and spiked head are the shoulder pads of Takanuva 2008! Look closely and you can see that he seems to have an Alien-like mask... Gali is the only one that have ear wings on her mask, strange O.o Do Tahu have a... tri-shuriken on his right arm?! Why has he gone ninja when he was a proud warrior *wacko* -Ignika
