  1. id have to say... the general grievous fighter. its cheap, and awesome, and a great way to gather lightsabers for those jedi who have lost theirs or your custom ones. i am also really liking the MTT, and Im saving up my money and selling video games to buy it. i definitely think it is necessary for a great collection! i also really like the republic cruiser, despite the fact that mine had the qui gon jinn head mistake, but i called LEGO and they are shipping the fleshie head to me in 10 days or so from denmark! whoopie! the battlepacks are also really great, but not sure if they are considered a set...
  2. hmmm... i changed my mind: i want the chrome royal starship as the 10th anniversary set, because TLG started with that episode, right? i think i would be very iconic and spectacular, and would be around $150/euros because of the chrome. i also want endor, jedi temple, and tipoca city sets. *sweet*
  3. Because, all of the SW sets shown at toy fair are going to be released in August, and these two, along with the homing spider droid, Death Star, and twighlight, are probably going to be released later 2008. not positive, but pretty sure. otherwise if these are released in 2009, i think this will be the earliest LEGO has ever released pics, way before the sets come out. ;-)
  4. yeah, i keep the manuals, just in case i break a set, and then i dont have to look at scans. i also think that most of the booklets have the boxart and other things in them, like other sets released at the same time, the capabilities of the set, and art. *sweet*
  5. wow thats huge!! X-O :-) but spending that kind of money on bricklink orders to build a huge door with stuff behind it... its still pretty awesome though! and a WIP!?! :-P
  6. hey zero, who are the last two that you mentioned? (sorry if it seems weird that i posted 3 times in a few minuets, but my computer screwed up and double posted twice)
  7. hmm: 1. Ki-Adi Mundi 2:Shaak Ti 3: Aayla Secura 4. BF2 troopers EDIT:oops, sorry for the double post!
  8. hmm: 1. Ki-Adi Mundi 2:Shaak Ti 3: Aayla Secura 4. BF2 troopers
  9. hmm... brickmaster eh? i dont get that, but ig it does come with an ecxlusive fig or something, i will be really angry! no not really, ill just have to order the magazine! :-P
  10. hmmm.... i havent done this before, but im not sure if paint is the best choice... maybe silver spraypaint? or you could always buy the pieces off of bricklink... ;-)
  11. wow, great star to your story, i hope youll post it soon! ;-)
  12. hey zen, dont worry about it, it happens to everyone, so dont apologize. ;-) we will wait ;-)
  13. wow, those are huge!! and make them all color matching is just unbelievable! *sweet* tthat second one really does scare me... :-D 8- X-D i maade a small lego house once with my friend, and both of us put together didnt have enough color matching pieces to build it (without ripping apart our sets) :-| EDIT: het what happened to my third smiley??
  14. wow, that seems alot... although ive seen way bigger collections. if the biggest LEGO fan in the world stopped buying LEgos, or didnt buy any at all, hed be living on one of his own tropical islands, sitting on his roof of the mansion with drink... (obviously a little exagaration, but you get my point) :-|
  15. yeah, scenes are well missed... true, we do need some mild things in our collections, but ther are so many better possibilities that TLC could produce, like the jedi temple or dogobah scenes
  16. nice review, *vader* ! too bad i probably wont get this set, but if i have lots of money for my birthday (november) and the holidays, ill be sure to pick this one up, if LEGO doesnt hit us with expensive 2009 sets that is. oh no! 2009 already?!?! LOL X-D
  17. yep, i keep all the boxes ecxept the BPs until the end of the year, and then i throw them out after the holidays, just to be fond of them. i dont usually store any legos in the boxes though... ;-)
  18. great job, i havent seen your comics at all, but this is really cool. probably because i stay in the TIE army forum... cool, though ;-)
  19. cool, this looks awesome, but not as pure as the new blue one, and not as cool as the yellow one. i rebuilt the yellow one (salvaged parts from the bin and copied instruction scans on the internet for hours) for the sake of getting the blue one, because i dont have this one. :-( looks very neat though, and this, anakins JSF, vulture droids, buzz droids, and a mini arc 170 for only 50 euros? what a deal!! X-D nice review *yoda* , i like how you review the little things in sets, it really shows appreciation and dedication to that part of the set ;-)
  20. hmm... still not sure i want this set, it looks big and hard to build, and rather dulll, maybe too expensive... :-/ *wacko* nice review though, although you couldve said more about it rather than just pics... still, good work ;-)
  21. i guess thhis is cool, the two mauls are different though: the old one has smaller eyes and smaller red tatoos, while this one has more cartoony eyes and more obvious horns and more red on his face. the ship is not very playable at all; the front breaks off very easily, and the fold down cockpit breaks too. this set should be for display only, but the features (probe droids, speeder, lightsaber, flick fire missles, binoculars, open cockpit, storage area) suggest a playabilty factor; actually it has many playability factors. but the ship is way to unsturdy... nice review, although it could use more commentary. ;-) but i dont suppose youll be replying...
  22. ugh, i dont like the look of this at all... to plain and boring for me... nice review though, and good thing it comes with clones!! ;-)
  23. thank you yoda!! ;-) i really like this set, and i think it is under apreciated; ive heard from mant people that they dont want this set. |-/ yeah, the little hooks were a pain, but no DSS (yes!) X-D notice the grey pices that connect the spider droids legs: are those new guns?? i used them for my matrix lego movie... keep up the great reviews! *yoda*
  24. wow, this is a truly spectacular MF. im soo lucky i got it in the greivous starfighter. when i opened the box and poured out the contents, i was like: "parts...check, manual...check, no DSS..check...oh, wait whats this? one of 10,000 limited edition c-3pos............OMFG!!!!!!!!!!!" i didnt even know about this until i got it, but i was pretty damn ecxited :-P X-D :-$ and i was worried about opening it, to see if it was worth something, but a golden 3po standing next to r2 on my collection shelf: priceless. and yoda opened it, so no worries! :-D i also kept the bag as a souvinier. ;-) congragulations yoda and sam89 for winning the contest and c3po! im glad they gave a few out to europe, otherwise id feel guilty about being on this site! X-D thank you yoda, i really love your reviews, especially the MF ones, their so unique, and a good chance to look at the rare/ unique figs, like this one and kit fisto! ;-) hope you continue to review figs! X-D ;-)
  25. *sigh* *sad* games and other lego sets ate up my money from the holidays already, so cant get this set... at the moment. yes, i have seen these still in stores, but i dont have enough to buy it... :'-( :-( i wonder if its just the load of MFs that taunt me (as usual). the MTT looks great, but spending $100 on it doesnt seem like a good idea. the load of droids is nice, especially since in the BP, they didnt have the new arms or guns... but the clones did!! why is this? |-/ anyway, nice review, i look foward to your future ones! ;-) X-D o yes, an aat would be nice! and i am a big fan of federation vehicles (brown, not the blue ships)
