If you look closely near the end of the video you can see a hero getting attacked by a Fangz. The hero looks like Evo at first, but if you look closely it seems its Rocka 2.0, as he has a Surge 2.0 headgear, Evo weapon, and you can see a bit of white in his armor.

Gresh was alive during the Core War, just too young to fight in it.

Technically, Gresh is older than Tahu and Taknuva, so it makes sense. =P

Well, hopefully Journey's End will flesh things out more.

Actually, GN10 goes in-depth of MN's journey to the Valley of the Maze. So, it doesn't make the storyline as rushed.

Eh. Mata Nui is just pointing at the star in the middle of Tahu, which is probably Teridax. And that model of Tahu is just representing who's coming.
