  1. Impressive!
  2. Had an interesting and fun time getting all of the MFs in the set. On the first of the month I made the first trip out where I found some at Target and managed to get 8 of the 16 with one duplicate. Next day it was off to my nearby Walmart where I found a single pack on a shelf in the LEGO isle but no sign of the rest. I knew they had to be somewhere then found another single pack on a shelf in the next isle over. Talk about a teaser! Walking down further and there was a loaded wall mounted box with pegs at the end of the isle. Got 8 more with a feel guide with me but when I got home found out I had a duplicate. At that point I had 15 of 16. Back the next day to Walmart to find the witch. Took 20 minutes but did find her after slightly rolling each pack until the broom was located.
  3. Thanks for the information. Makes sense now; the guide referred to "dark grey" so that's what I was looking for. Cheers Rich
  4. I'm really enjoying reading the guide. I'm having a hard time find the slopes used on the railing. Bricklink doesn't list a dark gray slope for part number 54200. What is the part number for the 1x1 slopes/wedges used on the bridge railings?
  5. Steve - Wanted to drop a note to let you know that I'm enjoying your blog. After looking at the pictures of the Castle series, I began to notice a lot of familiar looking pieces in my spare parts bin. Most of these parts were found dumped in a pile in a parking lot many years ago (including minifigures ). I think now I'll try and resurrect some of these sets. Thanks and keep up the good work. BTW, Your blog works great w/Chrome Rich
  6. Nice job with the Tiger although it should be bigger to better match the figures. The travel lock for the gun barrel on the right rear was not common to most Tigers and was only used in production for about four months. The engine hatch on Tigers is hinged at the rear, not the front. If I didn't have a 1/6th scale RC model, I'd considering one of these.
