Thank you for all the comments! Actually there is a very thin paper plate underneath, either that or I ran out of those plate pieces. Here is the first version of the military base I made a couple of months ago back then I didn't have my white background (or any building skills it seems ). I will post the MUCH improved version today or tomorrow.

Finally a place to watch the whacker and the walrus ! You should work for the lego company! I like how you used those fish, are those white helmets for lights and also is there a second story ?

Here are some mocs I made (WIP) the first is a Vietcong bar (blue lagoon club) that I made today its inspired by the book Phu nham (by Barry Sadler) , please excuse the poor job on these mocs I'm moving so most of my legos are packed. Blue lagoon club. Inside some soldiers are taking a break . Outside of the bar. Vietnam business man eating lunch. Rossen and Tomanaga. Side of the building. Overall view. Minifigs. SFC Hagerty. Tomanaga Rossen. I will post pictures of the military base soon, tell me what you think! Click here for more pictures.

Name: Peril in Peru Theme: LEGO Indiana Jones Year: 2008 Pieces: 625 Mini figs: 6 Price: USD 84.64 EUR 66.99 Today I will be reviewing peril in Peru. Front of the box Back of the box Nothing too interesting here. The instruction booklet #1 The instruction booklet #2 Random page in the instruction booklet The instructions were ok but you have to adjust, because dark Grey looks like black. The sticker sheet I think the stickers included are appropriate for this set. The bags Not too many bags for the price but its ok. Bag three The mini figures A good array of mini figures a couple more guards would have been nice, but I'm not complaining. The build The build is not too bad it can be monotonous but overall its enjoyable. The Jeep TLC did a great job on this one now if only they make it a separate set. The tractor Nothing too get too excited about. (although it will make a nice addition to the city) The plane A very nice model nice design nice overall feel nice wing span I could go on but you get the idea. The window stickers aren't nearly as bright as you would think they don't match the pictures at all but its forgivable. The wheel design is pretty nice it serves its purpose. You can't fit many passengers in the plane and there aren't any seats, but at least you can replace the cargo with figs. I like the cockpit, there's just enough space for the pilot. The crystal skull I love this skull with the right lighting it looks marvelous. The complete set Overall I am very satisfied with the set I love everything about the set. (except the price ) Extra pieces and accessories I think this is a new pistol design but I'm not sure. Misc pictures I really like this guard minifig the scar in the top left corner is a nice touch. Playability: 10/10 (plenty of playability.) Design: 10/10 (Awesome design almost flawless, almost .) Price: 6/10 (I got this set at TRU surprisingly it was cheaper!!! I only paid $50.00 dollars for it imagine that! ) Overall: 9/10 (a great set for lego/Indy fans, I think its perfect but that price ouch! ) * * * * * If you can get a hold of this set get it,you wont be disappointed. More pictures can be found on brickshelf. 7628 on brickset. 7628 on bricklink.

Sets with sorted bags; worth the extra expense?
wulf replied to Siegfried's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Well I think sorted bags would be nice I just built one of the new castles it didn't have sorted bags so it took me longer than usual, but I can live with it. -
