  1. Gali's mask looks like Matau's mixed with movie Nokama's
  2. Since I had the page opened and preloaded I reuploaded it, I'm just not sure how imgur search works so maybe it won't be possible to find it. And I don't have TTV forums account, I might only post the link on reddit.
  3. Just a relevant copypasta. 7 new pages in one day, goddammit. Finally some HQ photos. In general I really like the Toa, the creatures I like less. Not sure what I should think about Umarak and what is probably Mask of Control - mask looks great but very different from the one in the animations.
  4. Well, I can tell from these pics that people still didn't learn to take normal photos.
  5. Please, keep this discussion somewhere else.
  6. There's the problem he/it was in a single scene without a mention of a name in (currently) official Star Wars media. So there'd be a really low number of people that would know who it is, meaning lower sales. Also now that it already is 8th of September, could someone please repost the list or whatever got deleted?
  7. The ponytail seems underwhelming, too small. And the blue armor on her hands looks just completely random, I'd stick with red or gunmetal. That's all I can really criticize. Great MOC.
  8. http://vignette3.wikia.nocookie.net/starwars/images/7/7e/Grievous_CN.jpg/revision/latest?cb=20081018034149 - from the animated Clone Wars series
  9. The english version is on Bionicle facebook page.
  10. Precisely. I've learned more about the story in 2007 after getting on the internet and I was a collector since Toa Mata. We had here maybe 2-3 comics that were translated and all movies too. Saying you'd have to read all the books is like saying that to enjoy the new upcoming Star Wars movies you'd have to watch all the previous ones, the whole Clone Wars series, Rebels series, read all canon books (and all non canon books, play all video games and read the absurd amount of comics)this is now irrelevant to the story. (And then there's the fact that I would actually like to do it. A shame I'll have to read other books because of school.) I hope there will be a way to get the new books, since here most likely won't be official distribution.
  11. I know about this and used it several times, but it still restricts the movement although the feet look much more proportionate most of the time.
  12. Yeah, we desperately need some new non-creature-like feet. Something similar to HF 1.0 feet would be nice, they themselves don't have ball joint connection which makes them difficult to utilize well.
  13. It theoretically gives more time to make knock-offs, but these would be here anyway, just probably later.
  14. Well, from episode 10 I got the impression that they are like idiots. "This feels like a trap" - steps on trap mechanism (but shit happens so yeah, plausible). Lewa just flies away and disappears. Onua destroys the whole area including a bridge. Are there any other media or will there be any? (books, comics,...) I didn't check this thread in about half a year so sorry.
  15. Didn't he rather think about Pewku?
  16. Can someone please post a recap of what we know? I didn't follow the 2015 thread at all.
  17. I just want to say that just when I was about to catch up with the discussion (page 180/201) the thread exploded again, this is gonna take so long... I'll join you again sometime in active discussion, but for now there's reading to be done.
  18. This is damn impressive. Just the photos are a bit too dark.
  19. Why not? Bionicle is returning! Every day until release, there should be a celebration!
  20. Fire burns, plasma melts. And different colors.
  21. I already posted it, but I think the prices will be multiples of 4. 10,15,20 is too much, Heroes were (originally) made as small sets so they were cheap to get so more people will get them and hopefully buy more sets if they liked these. Price was low for a reason. Making sets of a "new" line considerably more expensive certainly won't help with sales and fanbase will be smaller than it could've been, which will lower profit in the long run. All we can say about the complexity of the sets is that Tahu seems to use 2011 HF torso armor on legs and that Tahu, Kopaka and Onua have higher recommended age limit. Ignoring this we could assume that all Toa have the same price-point.
  22. In my book: flying = moving in the air, you can't stay in one place or you'll fall (for example birds). Levitation = rise from ground to the air, you can stay still and move up and down, but you can't move horizontally. (For example magnets can do so) Lewa has to use both his mask power and elemental power in order to fly, and using only one of these can be quiet demanding, as Toa Nuva he has better control over his element, but he has to focus on both of these things anyway. He can't fly for extended period of time because of this, so adaptive armor giving him jets to propel him makes perfect sense. If you want to discuss weird equipment of Toa Nuva in Karda Nui I would focus on Pohatu. Two propellers, one in each hand? Really?
  23. Lewa is confirmed Rhastapharian!
  24. About the prices. What if they will be multiples of 4, not 5? So it will be 8€, 12€, 16€, 20€ (or dollars, simpler to write € on my keyboard). 12 and 16 seems like a better price point for Toa than 15 and 20, when all previous 20€ sets were visibly much bigger than normal Toa sets can be. And defender sets can certainly fit in 8€ price. LOSS looks like he can be both 20 or 25€ though, I can't see enough details. Only franchises I dived deep into are Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, Bionicle. So LOTR will be my example now. The creation and begining of LOTR world is described in Silmarillion, creation of the world by a "god" (Eru Ilúvatar) and "angels" (Ainur), the process of creating the land itself, then fights between evil and good before time began, then Elves were created and First Age started, humans were created, greatest evil was defeated (several times), in the final battle a huge chunk of Middleearth was destroyed. Then you have The Hobbit which is about 5000 years later. Pretty much nothing what happened in Silmarillion is relevant to Hobbit and LOTR, the big bad guy in LOTR was only a servant to the main evil guy from Silmariillion, but so what it matters to LOTR story? (In LOTR he acts independently on anyone.)
