Not impressed with the new city sets Waiting for Friends sets revealing to see if there is something interesting to add to my city

I like: 42670 Heartlake City Apartments and Stores 42655 Restaurant and Cooking School But I find them expensive I will wait until a hard discount or I will try to copy some elements with my huge stock of bulk pieces

I think (as a boomer) that LEGO don't need to add electric artifacts to the sets If kids are not into building, close city line and transform it in icons, expert,... Adding electronic to the sets, a part of being opposite to zero carbon footprint policy, are a bad idea: Electronic artifacts has a programmed obsolescence that makes that this artifacts stop to work after X uses, that means that the item that brings sense to the set disapear That artifacts make that the price of the sets increase a lot, making then not affordable for the kids (their target public) If you start the race, you can't stop (if you create a standard and a necessity, you are obligated to not only include the artifacts in all the future sets, but also, developing new and advanced artifacts with every time more functions)

First wave city lego sets (excluding space) were great even police and firemen ones The last ones, are also great I hope we have more in the same line Add some profitable city sets in friends line and we have another problem of empty wallet and lack of space

40% in LEGO stores Too much coloful and childish but too expensive And, at least in Spain, there ara no people (adult or kids) interested in the theme
