@ Alasdair Ryan No, I did not have any PF when i made the tractor. It might be a challenge without removing or re-arranging the pneumatics. The battery box would be hard to hide. If the tractor was always connected to a trailer or something, then the box could be there. Maybe the next generation will have PF. @ DLuders Thank you. I think the loader as a whole could be used in a lot of places. The geometry is pretty close to a log loaders used in northern Europe, just needs an extension boom (and a long pneumatic cylinder). The biggest problem that the model has, is the connectors. It can be built with 1,5M connecting bushes (LDD term) but those are not friction pins, so there will be slack in the wrong places. I've solved this by cutting off the shoulder from 3M friction pins. Cheers Lurvio

Hello Well, my first post got a very enthusiastic response so here's more. There are some modified parts in the tractor (the front hitch) that are a result of a broken part finding a new life. The hood has just cardboard and tape added, as I like the enclosed look better than the traditional technic-look. Attached is a LDD file of the above tractor. The purple parts are there to visualise the points where the flex tubes connect. If someone is interested in building this model, I can measure the flex tubes. Also attached is my mod for the 8043 Excavator. I removed the gearbox and a big pile of gears and placed the motors much closer to the center of balance, which in my opinion makes a big difference for the model. The mod needs one extra IR controller and reciever, one XL- and one M-motor plus maybe some basic parts. I have not done a parts cataloque so I'm not sure. Also i took the model apart before I remembered to photograph it, so I'll have to build it again et some point. Hello I've been lurking here for some time now and I think it is time to get posting some of my creations. I have agricultural background so I tend to build tractors and such. The tractor below is (if my memory serves me right) the fourth generation, each being bigger than the last and have more functions. The tractor and trailer have been built with pretty limited part selection as I have just resently started collecting again. Good amount of the parts are from the 8295 Telehandler, pneumatics mainly from 8439 Front End loader and so forth. The trailer is a combination of studless and studded, pneumatics and gears. Gearing under the bed has two functions, outriggers and crane turning. Craple is a copy from 8049 Tractor w/ Logloader. The cranes pneumatis are controlled from the right side of the tractor, left side has the front hitch lifting and additional function. I'll post a LDD model of the tractor later, it needs some editing. Enjoy Lurvio

What better place for a first post. :) This took me about seven hours with a relaxed pace and a couple of mods on the run. I read about the steering problems with this model, so I changed the friction pins to axles on the steering linkage. The steering is now very smooth by itself, unfortunately most of the friction comes from the tyres. I also removed the pins limiting steering movement and the model turns very well now. Lurvio
