I am part of a local Lego club and would like to share some of my creations created digitally with the other members (with the intention being of them being able to print the instructions and build them as I do). However, LDD generated instructions suck from what I've seen. The order of doing things is illogical, even to the point where they stack bricks magically in thin air and then add their supporting structure later.
I tried out MLCad (and all the programs associated with the install package on the Ldraw website) although had trouble using it and after working out how to generate instructions didn't find it that much better (still rather cumbersome).
So what is the best way to generate lego instructions from a digital model? Thanks
