  1. I sold my used Imperial flag ship for $325 with a few missing pieces (all stated in my sale of course). New price at the time was $340. Buyer opted not to have the box so I shipped it in a flat rate shipping box saving the seller 50% on actual shipping cost. Going price is $380 - $400 for a new one and you're asking for $250??! I start my listing at $350+shipping. Good luck, but if you still stick to your price, someone should buy it for a quick flip
  2. I want to make a telephone using the least amount of space/studs. Some ideas please? Its going inside a small house so the phone needs to be tiny. If it can be found in a current set, that works too. I'll just go buy the set for the phone!
  3. I think I have the mystery solved -- I went back to Toys R Us and there is a Thornatus V9 Set that looks badly banged up and clearly a returned box. Shockingly it was at full MSRP! My guess is both this set and the set I bought must've at one point somehow both opened and all the bags fell out. Someone carelessly tossed them back in and taped it back up. The set I bought was very beat up on the outside.
  4. I wonder how that bag got into this set ... this set was found at Toys R Us supposedly "brand new" abeit it being a little bit beat up on the outside and looked like it was opened. I would imagine most people would buy lego to steal a bag or replace and return but not throw in an additional bag while taking nothing. Very odd indeed. It looks like everything else is in here so I'm going to list it. Thanks for the confirmation.
  5. I'm about to sell this unopen set I stumbled upon recently. Inside I found 2xBag#3 when its shown there should only be 1 bag. In a photo in the middle of the manual at the start of bag#3 build, it sorta indicate 2xbag#3 but not clear. A reviewer photo only show 1 bag#3. http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3156/3747672920_ec4448267d_o.jpg from review here I took a photo of what I have attached. I think it is all correct but I don't want to sell the set if the bags are all mixed up. Anyway to clearly find out if all the bags I have are correct and not missing any?
  6. I bought this set also but at $29 at Walmart. While not so lucky, one set I bought had a bag stolen from it. The box was opened that I did not noticed until I got home.
  7. Its been probably 20 years since I last played with Lego and I just have the sudden interest in Lego when my 2 year old received a Duplo set as a gift during Thanksgiving 2011. I did not think much of it but as I started playing with him, memories of Lego came back to me. Its strange because we never had any Lego sets when I was younger, it was mostly bulk loads of lego pieces that I have no idea where they came from other then that I had a whole bunch to play with. Next thing I know during this past christmas of 2011, I bought lets just say quitte a few sets for myself from some basic to a couple of pirate ships. Almost ended up with the London Tower Bridget but passed on that since the last box on the shelf was so beat up. I think I spent close to $1000 in a 30 day period and I'm kind of scared how much I'll be further spending going towards the future! Each set has been a pleasure to build and I have a guilty feeling neglecting household chores to "play"!
  8. Its a great idea and it would be more useful if you include applicable coupons, sales, or promotions at the retailer that can be applied to that particular item. A lot of people plan out their purchase to stack coupons or promotions to maximize the savings.
  9. I actually like the big boxes -- Makes it more appealing to buy.
  10. I bought black pearl 4184 for $60 last week at costco and there was a few left.
