Hi, Found this site with google but reading Derfel Cadarn guide on building a medieval village, made me sign up. And also bought my first set in a long time on a tip I found in the sales section, grand emporium on amazone.fr. Now checking daily and reading all the older posts, still ahve a lot of reading to do J.

Hi, I think the battery box might be a bit difficult to hide, I bought this to add a few lights to my sons lego train : http://lifelites.com/products/144 Used this for the wagons, gives a nice light not to bright. The power function light did work well for the trains headlights, fits perfeclty and since the battery box is already there for the motor it´s easy to connect. Take care. J.

Hi, Another old guy back in to lego after a looooooooooong time, 36 years old and counting :-). Just bought the grand emporium and now building this together with my 7 year old son (since I got to play with his lego sets, only fair :-)). I can highly recommend this set, its pretty big so you can spread it out a bit, so every night an hour before bed time we build a piece of this set. Take care. J.
