Great tutorial,Have ordered my cloth and waiting to have a go, was using plastic shim material cut to lego patterns but these are really good and the tip with varnish never thought of that. Cheers once done will just have to post the ship and get some advice. Have ordered a light canvas material,

Nice little ship, like the rear design but slightly longer would make it even better, just got to work out how to post my own ship on here for some advice as some fantastic looking ships about. Really like and think I'll try a nice small ship myself.

Love the mods, going to have to be a set to purchase, best looking official lego ship, have to talk my son into getting one for Christmas.

Had this as a kid, a good little set that added to my lagoon lock up and for at the time nicely, have just dug these out and are now sitting on my sons shelf for him to use and he likes it. Wish I had not sold my old elderado fortress now on ebay to add it all together again. A very good review of an old set, lots of detail and pics.
