Yes, but Bionicle is made by Lego, and therefore is just as much Lego as any other set. Its just a different style. Say that an artist was really famous for his paintings, but then decided to sculpt (or vice versa with Michelangelo.) Michelangelo became even more famous for his paintings than he did for his sculptures. Lego Bionicle is their most popular line right now, (and is not made out of traditional bricks) because action figures with weapons is what attracts a younger audience. If lego wants to stay in existence, they will need to keep the Bionicle line, or come up with something as appealing to a certain audience. Back on topic, I have all the 2005 sets except for Roodaka, and i must say that I am not a big fan of any of them. I like system lego more ;)

1. Lego is a great way to be creative, and it is a lot of fun. 2. The fun involved with building new sets and custom creations. 3. By making it really hard to get minifigs to make an army, and sometimes having to spend a lot more than wanted to create a particular person or to make an army. And, by changing the colors of the bricks. 4. The Vikings line is a big improvement over KK2 and Dinos. 5. More medieval themes, minifig packs. 6. Is there a town called Northbrook? Because there is a mall in Downtown Chicago also called northbrook (thats where the Lego store is). If I were to find a good selection of Lego (in the US), where would you guys recommend?

Hi everyone! I just got back from chicago (which has a Lego Store). I wandered around in there. No vikings. No Dino sets. No new knights sets. I asked about Vikings, and the guy (who looked at me like i was from mars) told me that while Lego made no vikings, i should check out the line of "viking sets" that megablocks *sick* is producing. i walked away. They had almost notjhing on the shelves, and they had signs saying "Sorry! We are currently experiencing difficulty in our factory. Please come again soon!"

There is actually a topic about this store in Buy Sell Trade & Finds. There are some neat ones like the Kit Fisto and the Woobaca, but theyre not that neat for the price theyre asking. Its amazing that people can be fooled into buying stuff like this (not the real customs, the Dead Owen and Beru and the Headless Horsemans Horse). Edit: YAY!!! 60 POSTS!!!

lol! Im not sure id want to sell it. Im saving it for when I have the time to build it all. But I'm going to Chicago on friday, and last time I was there (2 months ago), the Lego Store had like 3 of them, so i might get an extra one. If I do, I'll pm you Hobbes.

WOW!!! I got one from S&H but I never opened it. $500 here I come!!! lol. But isnt 600$ a bit too much? Its a great set, but its possible to make it out of bricks from a standart creater bucket.

Yah. His stuff is great, cept its waay to expensive. Look at his Kit Fisto (he calls it aquatic jedi) and his Woobaca! Theyre awesome! But theyre soooo expensive! And what is the protective sealant stuff?

I think that Eurobricks was right to ban him, but I think that VCVC just didnt know any better. He pmed me asking if we could be friends (i dont know how many other people got that same message (lol)) and when i said sure, he just talked. I think it was good for him. He was telling me all about his life, and about school and all that fun stuff. He seemed pretty normal, and his pms were actually decent messages (longer than one line, and no double pming). He does, however, like Hobbes said, come across as a little boy seeking attention. I am only one year older than he is (13) and I try to act very differently (I hope I am succeding). I am very glad Eurobricks banned him, because during his time, the forums were a mess, and triple posts and spam were everywhere, and there was a lot of flaming. And thank you Eurobricks for making this such a nice place. I havent posted much, but I feel at home here.

WOW!!! Those are awesome! I think that the Plo Koon's head would be better off orange (other than that, he's great!), and the Pablo Jill is incredible!!!

Id like it if Lego made a Ki-Adi-Mundi, Kit-Fisto, Shaak Ti, Plo Koon, and Alaya Secura. It would be awesome if they made them because then people could start building Jedi armies, whereas all we have now are Obi-Wan, Anakin, Mace, and Undulae. And Jedi Master Yoda. Sorry for forgetting you. :$
