I can't decide what color baseplates I should for a Star Wars theme city/display. Classic Gray is easy to find, but not sure? Maybe some tan or sand color? What would you use? Thank you

Yep, I took it right into the store. I went early in the morning, wasn't many people there and in that 30 minutes only two group of people even went down the Lego row where I was.

OK, it's not a secret, but here's my finding on Minifigure series 6. This may be controversial for some, but here's how to get the series 6 figures you want and get them fast. Much faster than the feel method. I went through NINE full boxes in less than 30 minutes. Use a Digital Pocket Scale, and weight them. Yes, I know this is NOT NEW. Tape the list on your scale (see image) Here the weights in grams. 9.8 Robot 10.3 Alien 10.4 Bandit 10.6 Lep 10.9 Sleepy 10.9 Doctor 11.0 Dancer 11.1 Battler 11.1 Genie 11.2 (could be Genie or Roman) 11.3 Roman 11.4 Mechanic (Some Mechanics are 11.3) 11.5 Minotaur 11.6 Statue of Lib 12.2 Skater girl 12.3 Galactic girl Be real careful with the 11.3, if could be a Roman or it could be the Mechanic. You will have to feel the 11.3 packets.

So here's what I got from 20 packs from a newly opened Series 6 box. 4 - Minotaur (not sure I need that many, ANY pack that is REALLY big/fat is the Minotaur) 3 - Roman Soldiers (might be good for starting an Army) 3 - Flamenco Dancer (Easy to confuse with the Statue of Liberty, because of the dress) 2 - Lady Liberty (Might be my favorite) 2 - Genies (Really cool!) 2 - Skater Girl 1 - Intergalactic Girl 1 - Mechanic 1 - Leprechaun (Pretty nice also, has the short legs) 1 - Alien (nice BIG buggy eyes)

Just got back from my local Fred Meyers and they just got six boxes of the Minifigures series 6 in. So new, it wasn't even in their computer system yet. OK, like most reports the DOT CODES from the Better Than Tomorrow's website is NOT correct from what I found. Packages 544B1. But the Statue of Liberty was Correct and she looks AWESOME!! OK, also the Statue of Liberty was probably the easiest one to find by the 'FEEL' method. The Genie was pretty easy to find by the tail and the Minator because of the HUGE head piece. steve

Walmart had five rows of Friends Legos out. To bad at least three rows where the City Park Cafe. I wish I would've taken a photo. They also had a good number of the $5.99 sets. Hey, I wife thought that they where pretty cool though. I think she said "WooooooW.

I saw one sell today for $105 us. I am going to keep watching for prices and see where it goes.

What do you think the value of this set will settle to? I've some it listed for $100, but just how many Lego Employee's got these? I would like to add to my collection, but more for around $50.00 Thought?

So I just bought 20 of the 6 quart plastic boxes and order a Stack-On DS-39 39 Drawer Storage Cabinet from Amazon to see how they work. It seems like I saw many people using those on the storage thread here. I imagine I would need a few more of these also, but just ordered one to see how big they truly are. Steve

Just got my first bulk buy. $150 (US) for 43 pounds. Found Lego 6211 Book 1 and Book 2. I'm hoping the pieces for it are in this container. Plus over 65 minifigures. WAIT did I just see a SPIDERMAN in there? Not too smelly, but definitely a smell of fabreeze. I'm actually looking forwards to sorting. As a new collector I need to develop a storage/sorting system. How about about 20 Rubbermaid/sterilite containers? Local Walmart has them for $1.00 each. I'm sure I am under estimating what I need. Thoughts please!

I need some advice as a new Lego collector. I have a chance for 20lbs of Legos at $5 a pound. One lot is from a smoker and another from a person that said that they only smoke outside, But has a number of cats and that there is probably cat hair mixed in with the Legos. Both of these lots sound like SMELLY LEGOs. I don't want smoke smelling Legos, and I'm allergic to Cats. What do you think? Would they be easy to clean? Soak in Fabreeze or dilute bleach?
