My wife bought me the IFS and QAR.....I dont buy her legos cause she isnt into them....

Im going to have to disagree....The sails on the IFS are the most realistic sails that Lego has produced. The print on them is amazingly realistic with the tie straps and such

Nice review.....i also really like this truck... Imiss the mini catalogues also....ifound all my old catalogues from the 80's and 90's and i still look through them wishing i had those sets

Just built the imperial flagship....wow what a build.....pictures and video do this ship no justice......its beautiful

Since when does mining equipment in real life look good? I think the new mining sets are cool and are a lot coller than the same old police or firestation

I also want a classic pirate movie.....so sick of johnny depp and his wacky pirate acting style. I want a bloody, violent rated R pirate movie. Is that too much to ask? LOL

IDK I like to go big or go home with my legos these days.....I only got small sets when I was a kid.....Now as an adult the small sets dont challenge me, not to mention I like buying the large expensive sets these days because I can.

Or we could take all pirate sets into account and decide who would win. There just arent enough imperial/armada sets to compete against the pirates.

Im really not sure how lego is going to capture all the details of the flying dutchman. Even at 2000 pieces its going to be hard. If this set is truly coming out its going to be either really awesome or suck big time and look nothing like the real ship. With that said I hope they come out with another BIG ship to go against the imperial flagship as I have one sitting under my tree as I type this

I personally think the POTC sets and movies are super lame. The classic pirate sets are where its at. I hope they release regular pirate sets in the future.

I love the Maersk, BNSF, and super chief but nothing beats the beauty of the emerald night.

We are going to have to agree to disagree.....i think the red cargo train looks a lot better and is almost as good of a deal especially with tru's price of $119 with 10% back.....it looks good and I like the cars a lot better. If you need more pf track its cheap on ebay. With that said I'm going to ask for the imperial flagship for christmas but I'm sure my wife will get me the yellow cargo train also.....is be fine with that especially that I have other trains....I'll probably take apart the yellow engine and make something else out of it

The blimp hangers were the coolest part of the exhibit.....Those things were huge! I think the exhibit is going till January

I care if its ugly....im not going to drop almost $200 on something that I think is ugly not to mention the cars are lame ID rather buy the track and crane seperate.....ive never seen a maersk pull passenger cars

I bought the maersk and a red cargo train. Pulled the power functions out of the red cargo train and put them in the maersk.....the yellow cargo train is a great value but isnt very attractive at all imo.....looks like a passenger train pulling cargo
