i think im one of the few people who actually put on the torso stickers (sorry, ferrari set purist haha! but that's one of the reasons im not getting the spider and the 430 challenge, the details themselves are stickers. yuck). it's kinda tricky at first, but you have 6 chances to get it right LOL WTF?!?!?! US$15 for the spider!?!?!?! that's a steal!

i usually don't deviate from the original instructions, even if a little modification will make the set look/work better. like my newly built 8654 ferrari truck. the truck can't close its roof if the driver has its cap on. i tried modifying it by moving the seat to the middle so that the minifig sits lower. works but the driver can barely rest his arm on the wheel because of the high window. i also tried replacing the 4x2 plate that was getting in the way with a 4x1 plate. also works, but im worried about the overall stability of the roof during play. either way, i'd rather have my truck parked without a driver than putting in a driver with the said modifications. im OC that way.

i think this served as a prototype on how they were going to execute an F1 car in the future. they got it almost right with the 8142, except for the sticker exhaust.

LOL! thanks johnny! i hope she agrees to a Lego-exclusive room in our future home :D got myself the off-road fire rescue. hope i could still find the fire station and the fire truck. wasn't planning on getting those but my sister gave me the fire car and now i have to complete it! argh! hope nobody gives me any police set, or else more spending will follow. ack!

received tje 7241 Fire Chief's car as a gift. picked up the 7942 Fire Pick-up with trailer at TRU today. excited to get my Christmas Gift :D

nice minifig! sylar would be a bad-megablocks minifig as well.

my Ferrari Finish Line just arrived today. got it at 50% less from bricklink (less when compared to the retail price at TRU Philippines).
