Umm, Brickipedia is not a website that has anyhing official most of the time. Personally,, I have never seen it say this is getting discontinued, but just don't put too much faith in Brickipedia.

There are quite a few things that I love about this series: The Ghosts, The Fishman, The skeleton horse. But, I don't know if I am willing to spend money on these sets when I'm already going to have a very expensive year (LOTR, Superheroes, CMF 7, Flying Dutchman.....)!!!!

Same with my TRU! No CMFs at all of any series!

Thank you for bringing this up!! I too was gettin quite anxcious and I am glad to see I'm not the only person who wants this set! I began to wonder if Lego simply forgot about this whole promotion....

I love me some DC comics and Legos, but I have to admit, I am getting mighty impatient about this lack of Marvel set descriptions! I mean, set pics have already been leaked for LOTR sets, and Marvel still only has set names.

I cannot wait for this Flying Dutchman set!!! I hope it comes with Tia Dalma or Pintel & Regetti! I wouldn't be surpised if the Flying Dutchman is an exclusive and is the final set in the line.

Honestly, at first I didn't really like the Roman centurion. But after seeing those pics of him, I am truly excited to get that fig!! I truly love all of them, even the Flamenco Dancer! I especially love the Genie, Sleepyhead, and Lady Liberty! The Statue of Liberty fig is truly beautiful. And I also love the Sleepyhead's hair and double-sided head. Overall, great series!!!

I went to the park this summer, and it was AMAZING!!!!! Just, FYI. And yes, another DA type set would be phenomenal.

I love this series! But, one quick question: does anyone else notice that in the prelim pics the Leprechaun had a pot of gold but in the official pics he doesn't? Does anyone know why?

This was extremely difficult to only pick one!!! I voted for the Genie, but I LOVE the Butcher, Mechanic, Sleepyhead, Minotaur, Clockwork Robot, and Lady Liberty!!! And may I also say, WhiteFang, I cannot wait for review!!! Your reviews are always superb!

I have to admit, I kinda wish that Lego would stop making Batman sets unless there is going to be new figs, like Clayface or Batgirl. Although, I suppose it's nice for people who missed the Batman sets the first time around... But for those of us who did purchase them the first time around are kind of hoping for some new heroes, ie The Flash and Aquaman. But, I do appreciate Lego redoing The Riddler with that awesome hat and The Joker looks way better, also!

That would be great if this were true, but I don't think we should think much of it just yet.

Oh, my-oh-my! That set is awesome!!! It is surprising though that Lego could keep this such a secret! This is definetly going on my X-mas wish list!!!!

UPDATE: I just checked Brickipedia and the bit of info saying 'Lego Harry Potter assumed to be discontinued this year after the release of the Minifigure Book', has been taken down.... how interesting, no?? Also, DK books has confirmed this minifigure book, I believe I read somewhere.

Yes, I agree this would be a nice hoorah for the series. And perhaps we would get lucky with an exclusive fig! I believe, according to Brickipedia the book comes out in June.

It says, under the 2012 'Themes Discountinued/Continued' section: 'The Lego Harry Potter Theme is assumed to be discontinued this year after the Lego Minifigure Book comes out.'
